Our fun filled weekend: Fish Catching, Being Crafty, New Moon, and Fray Concert

This weekend has been a fun filled weekend. Matthew was able to go fishing again. Him and Trevor took off around noon. And I headed over to Andrea's for some of her yummy white chili. Then we went to the New Moon movie. We both really enjoyed the movie. I thought it was a lot like the book, and it was not as cheesy as the first movie. Then I went home and got a report done that isn't due till after Thanksgiving. I'm pretty proud of myself for not putting it off till the last minute. Afterwards I headed to the dollar store to gather up some goods to make a Christmas wreath. I wanted to make one last year but never got around to it. This year I finally got it done before Christmas. Matthew and Trevor got home and they had both caught their limit of fish. They were pretty big ones also. We will be having a fish fry here soon. Later we headed to The Fray concert on campus. It was a great concert. Afterwards we went out for milkshakes with Jake Bischoff and his girlfriend. We are super excited to come home in a few days. Cant wait to see everyone.

Our Weekend

This weekend we got another snow storm. Thursday night we got like 5 inches, then Saturday night I bet we got 3 inches or more. This is the third snow storm since September. This could be a long winter, and its not even winter yet. Thursday we went to Cheyenne to pick up my ring. We had to send it in to get a diamond fixed that was loose. We took Sam, and her boyfriend Trent who was down to broadcast the high school state football games. Friday Matthew and I went to pick up our treadmill. We got it from some guy that was going to be moving for only 50 bucks. I was so excited. It is super nice, and it is so much easier than going to Half Acre to run. Saturday we went to the temple with our friends Trevor and Andrea. It was great to go, we haven't been since August. And I had never been to the Denver Temple so it was great. But it took us 5 hours to get home because of the huge snow storm. So kind of a scary ride home. But Trevor did great, thanks for getting us all home alive Trevor. We only have 5 days of school this week and then 2 next week and we are going home for Thanksgiving. Then we have one week of classes and finals and we are finally done with the semester.

Gone to Lovell, and in Laramie for the Weekend

This last weekend Matthew and I had different plans. He loves going and helping his dad do anything with the cows, so he went to Lovell to help get the cows out of the mountains. I wanted to go really bad , but I had a couple of tests to study for and tons of homework. I knew if I went home for the weekend there would be no studying going on. Matthew had a great time chasing cows. It was nice that our friend Jake was going to Lovell for the weekend too, so he was able to ride with him. And then Trevor and Andrea came back on Sunday from Lovell, so Matthew got a ride home with them. Thanks guys for taking care of my hunny and getting him home to me. On Sunday Matthew invited Trevor to go help them get the cows the rest of the way home. They all loved having Trevor's help I am sure. While I was back stuck in Laramie, my little brother came to visit me. It was great to see him. I always forget how old he is , he is almost 16. I still think as him being 5 years old still. We went to the game, if you could call it that. UW lost to BYU 54 to nothing. It was terrible, we left during the 3rd quarter. I was able to hang out with my sisters and their boyfriends over the weekend. It was great. I also got tons of homework done. It was so nice to see Matthew walk in the door late Sunday night though. We sure do miss each other when we are apart. ( Also Matthew remembered the camera, so I wouldn't miss any great picture taking while they were working cows)

School is going okay for the both of us. We are so ready for this semester to be over. We can hardly wait to hear from the schools Matthew applied for, it is hard to sit around and wait for a answer. We have two weeks left till Thanksgiving break, and then two weeks after that and we are done with finals and home for a few weeks before a new semester starts up.

Halloween Weekend

This weekend Andrea Whitaker and I hung out a lot. Matthew and Trevor went with a bunch of buddies to the UW vs U of U game. Thursday night my sister Sam did a Mary Kay party at my house. I invited Andrea, Brandy, and my friend from high school Halee Sorenson. It was great to see Halee and her little two year old boy Caiden. It was great to get facials and try out the new holiday lotions. We had a great girls night. Matthew left Thursday night, and made it to Utah around midnight. They made it safely. Friday night Andrea and I went out to dinner at Corona and we went to the movie Where the Wild Things are. The movie was some like the book, but a lot different. It kind of doesn't have a plot, and Andrea and I were having a hard time figuring it out. Saturday I had auxiliary training for stake conference at 4 , then when that got done I went to a Halloween party for a bit with Andrea. It was really nice to have Andrea to hang out with while Matthew was gone. We went to Stake conference this morning together as well. We sustained a new stake presidency. President Dory is our president now. We will miss President Turner but we are excited to have president Dory. Matthew returned today around noon. I was so happy to see him. It is kind of a long weekend with out him around. For Halloween Andrea and I dressed up for the party. I was a kitten and Andrea was Dorthy from Wizard of Oz, and her dog Tucker got to be Todo.

Secret Lake + Four fishing poles = Fish dinner

Yesterday, our friends Trevor and Andrea Whitiker invited us to go fishing with them again. This time Andrea and I had a mission to catch some fish for once. Last time we had zero luck. In fact the guys only caught three all together last time. This time it was great fishing time. It was so cold , and it started to hail and rain on us, but we had so much fun. The fish were biting like crazy. I caught three, and so did Andrea. Trevor was catching one every cast he made, but we did throw a lot of his back. Matthew was doing the same. It was just a lucky day to fish. I think our worms we used for bait had sugar on them or something. Andrea and I got really cold and we called it quits. Are job on our way back was to gather up all the fish on the bank and put them on the stringer. It was quite a job for us. The fish were so slippery, and the stringer was so heavy. But we got the job done, got back to the car after hiking up a huge hill, and tried to stay warm until the guys got back. On our way back we stopped in Medicine Bow to get something to eat at the Virginian. We have never thought to stop there to eat just cause it is in little Medicine Bow. But it had amazing food, and it wasn't too pricey. We are for sure going to have to stop there again. We ended the night with Matthew and Trevor gutting the fish, and Andrea and I making a fun trip to Wal-Mart. Then we watched Transformers 2. Hopefully we are able to get out to the lake again before it gets too cold. If not we will be ice fishing here soon.

A weekend full of family in town, and 8 inches of snow!!!

This weekend we were so happy to have Christian, Jill , Carson and Travis visit us to go to the homecoming football game. They got here Friday just in time to go help Matthew feed the goats while I was finishing up at work. We headed to Corona for dinner it was super yummy. Carson was so funny to watch. He has such a great imagination, he played swords with his knifes while waiting for his dinner to come, and Travis is such a good eater, and has such a cute smile. Next,we walked outside the restaurant to head home, and we were joined by snow. That night we got about 8 inches of snow. We had planned to go to the homecoming parade the next morning but when we woke up the snow and cold me no motivation to go. We skipped that and hung out at the house all morning and we went to the football game around noon. It was so cold. We only stayed for the first quarter and half of the 2ND one. Travis was hating being in his coat, and to be honest I don't know how much longer I would of lasted either. They won the game though. I think the snow was working in their advantage. Jill, Travis and I decided to go shopping, so we hit up Maurices and Wal-Mart. Matthew, Christian and Carson's plan was to go to the geology museum, but it was closed when they got there. So they went and hung out with our friend Trey at his apartment for a while. Then we had a little BBQ , and we partied the night away. Sunday Christian, Jill and the boys headed back to McCook , NE. It was so much fun to have you guys come see us for the weekend. Hopefully it will be warmer next time you come see us.

Cowboy Up!

This last weekend Matthew and I were able to go home for the weekend. Matthew's dad was going up to Dryhead to ween all the calves. Matthew loves to go up and help with anything to do with cows. Plus he gets to ride all day in the mountains, what could be better. We took Trevor and my sister Brandy home with us. Trevor was going to finish building a garage he started, and Brandy just wanted a break from college. We took our new car our on the road, and broke it in. We love the gas mileage it gets, we were able to drive all over the place before filling it up with gas. We stopped at my families first on Friday. We hung out with my family for a while, and went and looked the feed lot for a while. Matthew ran to his little brothers Jared and Jacob's football game in Greybull while I hung with my family for a little longer. I was able to go see my Grandma and Grandpa Bullinger as well. Then we headed to Lovell, the next morning Matthew woke up early to get up to Dryhead. I came up later with Stan in the truck to help cook burgers and hang out with Kasi ( Daniels fiance). It was beautiful up there, all the trees leaves were changes, and there was snow on the top of the mountain. They had a good turn out on the calves, and everyone had a fun and great day. Sunday we headed back to Laramie. It snowed clear from Shoshoni to Casper. I was for sure it would of been snowing in Laramie as well. But we returned to our apartment with no snow on the ground. It was great to see all of our family and get out of Laramie for the weekend.
