Updates in the Asay family

This last weekend we had Rocky Barrett here in Laramie one of Matthew's buddies, and we did all kinds of stuff. Friday night we had Matthew's scholarship banquet. The food was super good, and we had a good time. Then later that night we went to the Third Eyed Blind concert. It sure did bring back high school memories. I use to listen to them all the time in high school. We had to finish the night off with a "good ol" milkshake from Sheri's. Saturday we headed to Loveland, Colorado to do some shopping. I loved it, a girls dream with tons of outlet stores. We were able to find some really good deals also. Then we went out to the Library and got their amazing wings. And we ended the night with going to the new James Bond movie. It was a way good movie, as are all of the James Bond movies. Rocky left Sunday afternoon, we will miss him till next time, but it was great to see him again and have him stay with us for a few days.

WOW! Aren't you lookin good..

Sunday night Matthew found one of Stan's old sports jackets and decided to show it off for a while. He looked really snazzy in it, with his cowboy boots, button up shirt and jeans. Oh and we can't forget the famous aviators. But here are a few pictures of him all dressed up.

Winter WonderLand

Last night Matthew, Jake Bishoff and I went to the Buckcherry, Saving Abel, and Avenge Seven Fold concert in Casper. I was able to be right on the railing almost the whole time on the floor. It was a great concert and we had tons of fun.

This afternoon it started snowing. It hasn't snowed a whole lot but it super chilly outside. I am already hating the cold. Matthew is headed to Kansas City, Missouri for a Ag conference that he has been sponsored to go to. I wasn't able to go with him because of a test I have on Thursday. He won't be back till Sunday, and I sure am going to miss him tons. I love him so much and can't wait for him to get back.

Halloween Weekend

This last Friday Matthew and I decided to head home to Lovell for the weekend. Matthew's dad was getting all his cows out of Pryor and Dryhead and needed some extra help. We didn't leave to five friday night, puting us in Lovell at about eleven o'clock. Then we stayed up talking with the family for a few hours. So it was a late night and early to rise the next morning. Matthew went to Pryor with his grandpa Charlie and uncle Dave all day saturday to bring cows our, and I was able to go to Burlington and spend time with my family for the day. I went and rode the combine with my dad while he was combining beans. Its always great to see family after not seeing them for a while. It was also Jan, Matthews' mom's 50th birthday , so we party big for that. Then sunday we had to head back up and get some more cows out of dry head. Jan, Emily, Stetson, and I made lunch and brought it up to the guys. But our weekend was too fast and busy with not alot of sleep but it is always fun to go home and see everyone.
Emily and I also carved pumpkins for family home evening last Monday. I carved a spider and spider web which took me about two hours but it turned out great.
