Happy Halloween 2011

We just took Ian to a couple houses tonight trick-or-treating, so he could wear his cute costume. Of course I wanted to wear mine as well.

The Month of October

I can't believe that it is holiday time already. Yesterday I was at WalMart, and they are already for Christmas. It is crazy how time flies by. This month has been a busy one as always. Matthew has been studying like crazy. He has tests almost every week until the end of the semester. This semester has been a hard one for him, but I know he is enjoying Vet school, and learning lots. School is going okay for me. Being a mom, a wife, and doing online school can be  hard to juggle sometimes, but I manage somehow. Ian is growing up too fast. He is sleeping so much better now. We have got him on a pretty good schedule. It helps that I  try to have a routine at night. He is eating about every 4 hours during the day, and can go about 7 hours at night. It has been amazing. He loves to spit. The other day at church he was spitting like always. He looked at me, spit in my face, and smiled. Little stinker, but he is still so cute. He also has really got into looking at his hands, and grabbing faces/mom's hair . He is a mover now, and rolls all over the place. The other day I put him on the floor on his back to play for awhile. I came back 5 minutes later and he was almost to the kitchen. He is such a fun baby, and we love him to pieces. Ian is going to be a turtle for Halloween. We are going to miss our ward trunk-n-treat because we got invited to dinner at Dr. Ram's house. So I want to take him to the mall on Monday. Am I crazy for wanting to take my 6 month old trick-or-treating? He does look so cute in his costume.

Ian loves his Daddy

This is were Ian usually sits while I get ready in the morning. Not anymore, because he can jump out of the Bumbo now. Let's just say he might of ended up in the garbage can one time.

Sunday Best

Thanks Grandma Bullinger for the Halloween gear

Favorite place to play is Dad & Mom's bed.

Ian loves bubble baths

In Memory of Great Grandma Adolf

Monday my great Grandma Adolf passed away. She has been fighting leukemia for quiet a few years now. She fell and broke her hip about two weeks ago, and they were worried about doing surgery. She was so weak already, and surgery could of made things worse. In my family for some odd reason we always called Great Grandma Grandma Hank, because Hank was her husbands name. We also did this with my other great grandparents. I remember going over to Lovell in the summer to see Grandpa and Grandma Hank, and they had the best garden ever. Huge tomatoes, and wonderful corn. Grandma Hank was a super good cook. I didn't love her cooking when I was younger because she would try to get me to eat brussel sprouts all the time. The older I got I really enjoyed her cooking. She was a very strong member of the church. She always even when she was so sick shared her testimony with us, and her love for the gospel. Ian got to meet Grandma Hank this summer, and we were able to get a 5 generation picture at our visit. Grandma Hank was such a good example to our family. We know she is happier than ever in heaven with Grandpa. We love you Grandma Hank.

5 months

Ian is 5 months old. Crazy? I know! He has changed so much. Matthew and I were looking at pictures of him when he was first born, and he looks like a total different kid now. He is just a fun, happy , loving baby boy. He weighs a very solid 18 pounds now. He has decided that he doesn't have to go to bed till midnight every night now. No matter what we do he just doesn't like to sleep. Silly man. I think we might have a party animal on our hands. We started going to story time, and he loves all the songs, and watching all the other kids. It's so fun that our library does a story time for his age.  We love you Ian. We are so happy to be your parents.
MMMMM That was good.

Just Chillin

We tried to keep him awake, but it just wasn't going to happen.

Ian is growing up so fast. Here is what he has been up to lately.
Enjoying Ice Cream for Family Home Evening

Chilling in the Chair

Hanging with friends

Rolling all over the place. He looks like he might start crawling here.

Loving his bath time every night.

Being a cute, happy boy!

Started eating purred baby food. He loves sweet potatoes.
Update on Us: We have been busy as usual. Matthew has been studying and taking test like a crazy man. We sure are excited for him to have a break for at least a few days with out having to take a test.Matthew got to help with a alpaca C-section the other day. He was all sorts of excited about it. Matthew sure does love Vet school.  Ian and I still go to walking group every day in the morning. It's been really nice here in Pullman. It doesn't even feel like fall time, so we have enjoyed it on our walks. We sold our treadmill on craigslist, and got enough money to buy a elliptical. We have been really wanting one for a while, and it just came yesterday, and we really like it. Success!  We have been enjoying General Conference this weekend. We heard about the temple being built in Star Valley, Wyoming as many of you have. We are very excited to have a temple in Wyoming. It is still far from Lovell/Burlington, but still so cool. I am so thankful for temples, and for the peaceful feeling I get every time I go to the temple. I am especially thankful that I was able to be sealed for eternity to Matthew in the temple. I sure love my eternal family.
