Update

We have been super busy with school and work. Midterms are creeping up on us. I am not excited about this. I should only have two midterms but they will be in the classes I don't enjoy as much, Math and Physics. Matthew has a few midterms as well, that will keep him busy studying for the next week or so. But as soon as we are done with them we can have a break for a week with school and work. It will be Spring Break. Yes Yes Yes! It will be a much needed break. This last semester at the University of Wyoming has gone by super fast. After spring break we will only have 6 weeks of classes left.
About a week ago Matthew got an interview with UCDavis in California for Vet school. It is suppose to be a super good school, but its not Wichi, and its way more expensive than the others. Plus he has his mind set on Washington. We have been looking into housing and we are on the waiting list for one apartment place. Also, I found out that I can finish my schooling online and workshops through Powell from Valley City College. This is a huge blessing for us. We didn't know if I was going to be able to finish my degree after moving to Washington. I will be able to take a lot of the classes online during the Fall and Spring, and then in the summer they offer the workshops I need and other classes. Our Heavenly Father really has blessed our family this year.
This weekend, I am on my own. Matthew headed up to Lovell to watch his brothers at regional wrestling for the weekend. I had work, a baby shower, and I am teaching on Sunday in Young Womens. But this gives me time to clean, and do some homework. Next weekend we will hopefully be going to Casper to watch Matthew's brothers wrestle at state.

FHE at the Stockfarm

Tonight for FHE we went to the stock farm where Matthew milks the goats. He is milking three right now. There are also 7 new babies too that he is feeding the milk to. Matthew has been milking goats for the Lewis lab at the University who are doing a study on spider silk for about a year now. The goats have spider silk in their milk, and the lab spins the milk and produces spider silk out of it. It was great to spend some time together and have FHE. We are excited for this weekend. We are meeting Christian and Jill in Denver for Valentines weekend. It will be great to see them.

Road Trip

Last Wednesday afternoon we took off for Pullman, Washington to visit the town, and the Vet school. It is about 17 hours from Laramie, quite a drive. We got to Matthew's parents around 6 on Wednesday night. Then we left around 7 the next morning on drove clear across I-90 through Montana, a little bit of Idaho, then to Washington. We drove through green rolling hills with about 45 degree weather then we hit he little town Pullman. We checked into our hotel, went and looked for the vet school, and got a bite to eat. We got lost a few times, but we found our way around. Pullman is a cool town, all the houses and stores are up on hills, and the University is right in the middle of it all. When we checked into our hotel we noticed our TV didn't work, so we went and told the front desk, and they gave us a suite. We got the Cougar suite, it had a king size bed, a jacuzzi, and the room was covered with Washington State decor. The next morning we got up, and headed to the college for our tour. The Vet college was very good to us, we walked in and in the lobby there was a TV that said "Welcome Matthew and Charlene from Wyoming". They gave me a few numbers for jobs, and they set us up with a other couple that were married with kids who were LDS, and they gave us some numbers for house. We hit up the creamery, and got milkshakes, and a thing of their cougar gold sharp cheese in a can. They were all yummy. I think that is what sold us on moving there. Lol. Not really, the school is great, and I think that Pullman will be a great fit for us. We then headed back to Lovell and got there around 12:45 pm that night. We were able to see lots of family on this trip which was a huge bonus. Matthew will start school this fall in August. We are excited about moving to Pullman for the next 4 years.
