Weekend Adventures

This weekend was a long, but fun weekend. Friday we started out the morning with a Monk ( Jan's) Family reunion. They had a big breakfast at slide rock in Cowley. The food was yummy, and it was fun to slide down slide rock. I went down a few times with Stetson. It was great to visit and meet more of Jan's family. We spent most of the day cleaning out my Dad's horse trailer and packing it full of our stuff to move to Pullman. Then we decided to drive some of the way that night. We only made it to Livingston because my Dad lost a tire on the horse trailer. We decided to stay there and get up early in the morning to drive more. Once we got to Pullman we found our apartment and started unpacking. Then before we could get it all done we had about 8 guys from the elders quorum that lived in the complex there helping us. Isn't it great to be a member of the Church. We like our apartment a lot. It seems a little smaller than our old one, but we have a washer, dryer, and dish washer. Yay I am so excited for that feature of the apartment. We spent the night in our new place that night. The next morning we got up early and drove all the way home. It was such a long weekend. But it was great to get our stuff there and see our place. We are so thankful to me Dad for all his help. We love him so much. We are back home for two and half weeks and then we are off to live in Pullman.

MVF (Most Vaulable Fisher)

Last night for Family Home Evening we all headed up to the mountains to spend time with Jan's good friend Kathy and her great-granddaughter Paige. We got up there and ate Kathy's yummy Chili Frito's, and Carmel Popcorn. Then Matthew, Daniel, Jacob, Jared, Paige and I all headed down to Half Ounce to fish. Matthew and I took Paige with us. She is nine, and super cute. She was my little buddy, and my little shadow. Paige was a good little fisher. I think that she was the winner of the night. Matthew started calling her the MVF of the night. ( Which means the Most Valuable Fisher). We had a great time taking her fishing and loved her cuteness. It was great to get together with friends and family for Family Home Evening.

A Bountiful Harvest

This morning Jan and I worked hard in the garden weeding, watering, and working in the flower gardens as well. It has been a scorcher today too. We had high 90s today. It has been fun to be here this summer helping Jan in her huge garden. This afternoon it cooled down a bit, so while Grandma Dorthy was here we went out and picked cherries. The tree was full of big nice red cherries for yummy cheery pies. I love this time of year when you get to see all your hard work pay off in the garden. I can't believe that summer is almost over. Next weekend we are heading to Pullman to move our stuff. Then on the 10th or 11th we are off for good. Summer has gone by too fast. I finished my classes at Powell last Wednesday. It was great to be done, also a blessing to be able to get some credits out of the way while we were here for the summer.

4th OF JULY

This year for the 4th I went up to Cody with my family, and we met Mandy, Cal and their girls there for the parade in Cody. We spent the day there shopping. That night Matthew and I went to hang with our fiends Trevor and Andrea for a while. They are in town until Thursday so we got to spend time with them. Sunday we had a huge surprise party for my Grandpa Bullinger's birthday. The food was super yummy and we shot off some fireworks. It was great to hang with family and friends this last weekend for the 4th. We really do love all of them.  Also a big thanks to my sister Sam for all the pictures. I forgot my camera for all the weekend celebration.
