Pretty Little Girl

We are so in love with our little Chloe. She is such a sweet baby. She has been a great sleeper and eater so far. We feel so blessed to have her in our family, and are excited to watch her grow. My friend Laurel took this amazing pictures when she visited me in the hospital. They capture how sweet baby Chloe really is. I feel so blessed as a mother to have two sweet babies. I truly love being their mom.

Easter

We have had a great Easter this year. We have enjoyed having my mom here, who made us a Easter dinner. Matthew went to just sacrament meeting today, and then we got all dressed up for some pictures of our family of 4.  This Easter I am extremely thankful for my wonderful little family. I am also thankful for my Savior for making it possible to have my little family here on this earth.

Ian was so excited for m&m's

Chloe sporting her new 1st Easter shirt. Looking pretty in pink.

We love being a family of 4.

Ian got chalk in his basket this morning. He loved playing with it in the sun today.

We had a little egg hunt for Ian. He liked it once he knew there was candy in the eggs.

Chloe Asay

Chloe joined our family Thursday morning at 7:29 am by c-section. She weighs 8 lbs 5 oz, and is 19 and 3/4 inches tall. She looks a lot like Ian did when he was born, but she has lots of blonde hair. We are all so in love with her. Ian doesn't know what to think about her quite yet, but I know they will be best friends soon. :) We are so happy to have her here. We got to come home today, and are doing great!
Hooked up to the monitors before going into surgery.

1st bath

Our first family of four pictures. We tricked Ian into holding his sister. He was asleep the whole time. :)

Ian Boy!

Ian you are so stinkin cute. You make your Dad and I very happy/proud parents. We are so blessed to have you as our son. We love watching you grow and learn each day. Some nights we lay in bed both wanting to go wake you up, so we can play some more. You make being parents so much fun. Thanks for being so happy, smiley and making us laugh all the time.

38 weeks

Let the count down begin. We have exactly 7 days until Chloe joins our family. (if not sooner) We are getting more and more anxious to meet her, and see what she looks like. I am feeling pretty good besides all the same old aches and pains. I am super excited to not be pregnant in a week though. We are taking one last little trip to Lewiston tomorrow as our little family of three for dinner and Costco. It's crazy to think that when we moved to Pullman we came with no kids at all. Now here we are 3 1/2 years later with almost two kids.

Happy Birthday Matthew!

Matthew turns 27 today. We started celebrating last night for FHE. We had our friends the Firth's over for cake and ice cream. Ian also made him a super cute card with his cute hand prints included. We are going to continue the celebrating today.
Ian, Chloe and I are so lucky to have Matthew. He is such a good dad, and loves spending time with our little family. I can't wait to see him hold his baby girl for the first time. I really appreciate how hard he works for our family in school, and in all he does. I am so blessed to have an amazing husband, father of my children, companion, and best friend ever. We love you like crazy Matthew, and hope you have a wonderful birthday!

Spring Break 2013

This year we were not able to go to Wyoming for spring break, because I am so pregnant. We made the best of our break here in Pullman. Friday evening we went to dinner with Phil and Angela, Saturday Matthew was able to go Sunnyside, WA to work on a dairy, Sunday we went to church, and Monday Matthew left again until Tuesday evening to Hermiston, OR to work with Dr. Peters. Ian and I got the oil changed in the explorer, went to speech for Ian, dinner at McDonald's for FHE, and did some shopping while Matthew was gone. Sunday before Matthew left he got the real toddler bed put together for Ian, and the crib moved into Chloe's room. So while he was gone I got Chloe's room pretty much ready for her to arrive. She is going to sleep in our room in a bassinet for awhile, but as soon as she is ready for the crib it's all ready to go. I am loving the pink/gray chevron fabric I used to make her bed skirt, and throughout her room. Wednesday we headed to Moscow to run some errands. While there we took Ian to the East Market place to play at the play place, and grabbed some lunch at Wingers. Pretty sure we all took naps when we got home as well. It's been so nice to take it easy this week. Matthew was also able to help me get a few things I have been wanting to get done around the house done this week. Thursday I had my doctors appointment, and that evening Matthew left for another trip to White Salmon, WA area with one of his professors. Everything went great at the doctor. My blood pressure is still doing great, and I am still dilated to just a 2. So no changes from last week besides that it seems like the last few weeks I have put on two-three pounds each appointment. This baby is putting on the pounds at the end for sure!
This week has also been a great opportunity for Matthew to get some vet work in. Even though we really would of liked to go to Wyoming for spring break we still enjoyed our time here. It's been warming up outside too. We are super excited for springtime, and so over wintertime.

I love that girls have so many accessories.

My friend Rhea did this awesome painting for Chloe. I love it!

I used the left over fabric from the bed skirt to do some decor for her room. I might do some more tulle pom poms too. These are just above the crib.

Matthew's Grandma Asay made this super cute pink blanket, and I made the skirt. (Do you love all the teeth marks in the crib for Ian?) :)

My friends that threw me a baby shower here in Pullman made this sign for me. I just got done painting a frame pink today for it to go into.

Playing at McDonald's

Ian likes the floor better I guess to sleep on

Here are a few pictures from Matthew's trip to Hermiston. One of the things he got to do was help sew this horse up. He said it took the vet pretty close to an hour to get it all sewn up. What a job!
