Spring Break

It was great to have a break from school and to go home and have a rest from it. Matthew and I went back to Lovell/ Burlington. We stayed at his parents in Lovell and traveled back and forth to visit all the relatives and my parents during the week. I was able to go to work with Matthew tons this last week. We tagged baby calf's, rode horses, and drove tractor. Matthew's brother Daniel just got home from his mission, and it was my first time meeting him as his sister in law. He was really fun, we set him up with my little sister Samantha on a date. We also celebrated Matthew's 23rd birthday this last week. We had dinner at my parents house with my Grandma and Grandpa Bullinger on Tuesday. Then we had another party with Matthew's family on Thursday. Friday I went with my mom and sisters to Billings shopping for my little sister Bethany's 11th birthday which is tomorrow happy birthday Bethany. Matthew on Friday got to go work with his uncle Dave Asay who is a vet, so it was great for Matthew to get to spend time with him and learn from him. Richard and Katie were sealed while we were there, and it was great to be able to go to their sealing. It was the first one I have been to since my own. We got to spend time with them after they returned from their honeymoon its great to have close friends get married. All us Asays went to through an endowment session on Saturday, it was the first time Stan and Jan have had all their kids that are old enough there at the temple with them for a long time. I was able to see my grandma and grandpa Bullinger there also because they work Saturdays, and also some family neighbors. I was able to go and watch Brandy and Jake at a track meet also. The both did very well. Michael and Emily also blessed their beautiful baby girl while we were home for the week. We had a very busy week, but fun. The weather was great while we were gone. It was up in the 70's and 60's everyday, and we beat a storm on our way home on Sunday. We are now back in Laramie with a blizzard. But we had a great Spring break these breaks are never long enough. It was great to see everyone and spend time with them.

This last weekend

So I know this is kind of late posting on our weekend with the Bullingers ( my family). But I have been busy this week and trying to get over a cold. My parents and brother Jake and sister Bethany came down for the weekend. My sister Brandy had state indoor track. She did really good. She took 5th in her 800 meter run which is her best race. She also has signed with the UW track team to run with them next year when she starts school down here, so that's exciting. While my parents were here we went to the New Mexico vs Wyoming game. They really enjoyed going to the game. Matthew then took them all out to the stock farm and showed them all the goats. Bethany loved the baby one. On Sunday we had a Book of Mormon battle fireside for our youth. I made strawberry cheesecakes for it, and Matthew played the role of Alma the Younger. He did a great job. The kids really loved it, and are excited to get their Book of Mormon read in 59 days, which is as long as Joseph Smith translated it. The young women are racing the young men to see who wins. Who ever the looser is in 59 days has to make dinner for the other. As leaders we are doing the battle with our girls.
It was great to have my family down for the weekend. And thanks for all you did while you were her Mom and Dad.

State Wrestling

This last Friday we took off to Casper to watch Matthew's little brother at state wrestling. Jared is a junior and wrestles at 189. I never really watched wrestling until I met Matthew, him and all of his brothers have wrestled. Matthew also use to coach middle school wrestling before his mission. I know nothing about the sport. I was all about watching basketball and football, and I was a cheerleader and ran track. So I wasn't a real contact sport girl. Wrestling is defiantly a contact sport. But this weekend I got in a lot of wrestling watching. I actually had a great time. I still don't understand all the scoring deals but it was fun to watch. Jared did great this season taking 5th at state. It was great to see Jan my mother in law and my two brother in laws Jacob and Jared. We are so excited to finally get a break in about a week and a half for spring break. Daniel comes home from his mission this weekend, and we will get to see him the next weekend. We are both excited. This will be the first time I will meet Daniel as his sister in law. ( I didn't get very good pictures. Either I was to far away or too short to see over all the tall people trying to take pictures also.)
