Turning 25

Today was my 25th birthday. I seriously don't feel like I am that old yet. I still remember turning 16 and getting to go on my first date. It really wasn't that long ago I swear. Now I have almost been married for 5 years to the most amazing guy, and have had two beautiful babies. Time really does fly by when you are having fun.  I have had an amazing birthday. I spent all day with my sweet kiddos, and loved every minute of it. Also Matthew got home earlier then I anticipated. I was so surprised and happy to have him home.  I have had lots of phone calls, ( including the bishop who called on Sunday), texts, birthday cards in the mail, treats left from amazing friends at my door step,  great friends and my cute family to celebrate with. To end the night the relief society presidency showed up at my door to wish me a happy birthday. How sweet are they? Thanks everyone for making turning 25 five so great. :)

2 months

Chloe is 2 months old today. Ah my babies are growing way too fast for my liking. Wish I could keep them this small forever.
She is a champ at sleeping through the night. She goes to bed around 9:30 or 10 and sleeps for about 8 hours every night. I also can usually get an hour long nap in the morning and three hour nap from her in the afternoons. She is seriously so nice to me and is an amazing sleeper. She is starting to smile lots at us. She watches her big brother's every move. She loves to be swaddled, and being nice and warm. Once she gets cold she is so mad at us. We moved her to her own room a few weeks back. She still sleeps awesome in her crib. She loves to be carried in the backpack, and falls asleep seconds after being put in it. She will drink from a bottle, but doesn't quite love it if she can see me while doing so. She knows I have the real thing. Smart baby :)  She is a super good eater, and is putting on the pounds. Her hair is still looking so red to me, and she has pretty blue eyes. We had her 2 month doctors appointment today, and she had to get three shots. Poor baby, but she has been asleep ever since then. Those shots and crying wore her out. We love our chubby cheek, pretty baby girl to pieces. We couldn't imagine our little family with out her. Ian sort of likes her too. He is definitely showing more interest in her. We love you so much Chloe Girl!

Memorial Day

For memorial day we really enjoyed having Matthew at home for the day. We went to order my new phone at the verizon store, pick up a new hanging flower for another birthday gift for me, pick up some food for a picnic and headed to Kamiak Butte for a few hours. We had never hiked it as a family. Ian loved it. Matthew carried him all the way up, and I had Chloe in the backpack. We hung out on top for a while because Ian was loving it. We even found someone up there to take a family picture for us. We can't ever get Ian to look for pictures though. Oh well we got one at least. Then on the way back Ian walked a lot of it. We were really trying to wear this boy out, so he would fall asleep on the way home. When we got to the bottom we ate our picnic and played at the playground. When we got home we did a few things around the house. Then both the kids and I took a nap while Matthew read up on his new rotation he is starting today. Later that night we enjoyed some yummy strawberry rhubarb crisp with some friends. We are so thankful for those who have and are serving for our country. We love and are so thankful for those of our loved ones who have passed away. This is the first time since we moved to Pullman we have not been in Wyoming for the summer. So I miss going to the cemetery to visit my Grandpa Bullinger and Great Grandparents graves. We sure do miss them, but can't wait to see them again someday.

Ian was sick of all the picture taking :)

I had to feed Chloe when we got to the top. It gave Ian plenty of time to run around. Chloe then fell back to sleep on the way down.

Such a pretty view from on top

Our Sunday...

Today was invite a friend to church day. I invited my friend Kristen but she was unable to come because her church services were at the same time. Matthew invited Dr. Ram who he respects and admires. He said yes, and it felt so great to have a friend come to church with us. But besides that my cute kids were being cute again in sacrament meeting. Ian ate just about all his piece of sacrament bread and saved one last crumb from his sister. I caught him feeding it to her. I didn't even stop him because I loved that he was sharing with her. After the fact I pulled the crumb from Chloe's mouth. I seriously have the sweetest kiddos. Sure wish I had a camera on me at all times for moments like that. After sacrament meeting Matthew was giving Dr. Ram a tour of the building and Ian needed a diaper change, so I changed him. Matthew walked Dr. Ram to his car, and I went to Sunday school. The second Matthew got Ian into nursery he pooped. Guess who decided they only needed one diaper today at church? Ooopps should of brought two :) We decided to just take him home. It's a good thing we did, Matthew got called into the hospital not long after we got home.
This Sunday I am thankful for the missionary opportunities Matthew and I have had. I am thankful that Dr. Ram had a good time coming to church with us. I am so very thankful for my family, and that we are seal for all eternity. I know that my Heavenly Father gives me challenges as a Mom to grow and learn from. I am thankful for those challenges and I know that I am not alone during any of them. I have my Savior and Father in Heaven helping me through them. I am so thankful for my wonderful husband who works so hard, but his 1st priority is his family. I am also thankful for the wonderful dad he his to our kids. Family is the most important thing we have here on this earth. I am truly thankful the happiness I have because of my family.

Lately

We are really enjoying our summer so far in Pullman. It has been nice and quite in this little town. Matthew is really enjoying his 4th year so far. He loves not being in the classroom and sitting in a desk all day. It's kind of weird to be here this summer because we have always gone to Wyoming for the summers. But we are enjoying our little family time together. The kids and I go on lots of walks. In fact I just ordered a double stroller for my birthday, so I can't wait to use it. Here are some pictures of the kids lately. Enjoy!
Playing in his pop up tent

We always find Ian sleeping in the craziest ways. Like hanging off the side of his bed. :)

These 3 pictures are some of Ian's art work. I left the living room for 2 seconds and he just about had the whole room colored.

I love those chubby cheeks

Ian woke up so early that day, so he ended up in bed with us.

All ready for church

This is Ian's new chair I bought him. He loves it. His favorite is to sit in it to do some tv watching.

Happy Mothers Day

I love this video from lds.org and talk by Jeffery R. Holland. http://www.lds.org/general-conference/1997/04/because-she-is-a-mother?lang=eng&cid=facebook-shared
They both are just what I needed to watch. Being a Mom is not always the easiest job, in fact it is the hardest job. But being a Mom is the most rewarding job. I am a Mom that loves nap times and bed times, but as soon as they are asleep I miss my sweet babies. Ian and Chloe are my world, and they make being a Mom the best thing in the world. I am thankful for my Mom and Matthew's Mom. I know that it was not easy always to raise either one of us, but Matthew and I both appreciate their hard work and love. I am thankful for all the wonderful examples of Mothers in my life. I have wonderful Grandma's, Great- Grandma's, Moms, Aunts, Sister in-laws and friends who are wonderful examples to me. Hope you all have a wonderful Mothers Day! I hope you remember how blessed you are to be a Mom. I feel very blessed and loved by my Heavenly Father to be a Mom to two beautiful children.

Here is my beautiful hanging flower that Matthew and the kids got me this year. I sure to have a wonderful husband and kids. Love them to pieces.

Birthday Celebration

We started Ian's birthday out by going to the park with our friends the Kings. We played and ate way to many cupcakes. Then on the way home Ian took a little snooze. After he woke up we ate some lunch, and got to see Matthew for a few minutes. Then we headed to our friends the Hansen's for an afternoon of slip and sliding. Ian never actually did the slip and slide, but played outside. The partying did not end there... We ended the day with a pizza party with friends, and lots of playing. We all partied hard for Ian's 2nd birthday. You are one loved little boy, Ian boy!
Thanks to all Ian's grand-parents for the gifts and cards. He loves them all.

He looks huge in this picture.

Ian might of had three cupcakes at the park. A little spoiled.

Why not a little bit of Mickey watching before bed.
