He melts my heart.....

A night of entertainment....

Saturday night Matthew and I were able to go to the BYU Ballroom Dancers. They were amazing. We really enjoyed the performance. The BYU Ballroom Dancing group are national champions and it was the first time they had been to Pullman. Our friends Phillip and Angela watched Ian, so we could enjoy our date. Thanks guys!

Afterwards we picked up Ian, and Matthew ran me to the movie theater to meet some friends for a movie. I got in a huge line with my ticket to HUNGER GAMES waiting for the doors to open. It was seriously nuts trying to get a good seat. People were running to the theater, but we ended up with great seats. I really enjoyed the movie and thought it followed the book to a T. Today when I was watching the news they said that it made $155 million dollars over the weekend. Crazy, but I believe it.

Spring Break

For Spring break this year we headed to Wyoming where we love to be. We enjoyed lots of family time. We left Saturday morning really early. Before we even got out of Pullman Ian threw up twice. After that he slept for about 5 hours. The roads were great the whole trip there. Sunday I woke up early feeling sick. We all went ahead and went to church anyways. During church I threw up twice, so we headed back to Matthew's parents house to take naps. By the end of the day Ian had thrown up a few times, and Matthew felt sick too. We all slept well that night and woke up feeling lots better. Monday Ian and I drove to my parents and spent the day with my dad. My mom and little brother were in Washington DC for the week, but we got to see them Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Monday we also celebrated Matthew's parents semi-annual anniversary. Thanks for meeting 32 years ago Stan and Jan. Tuesday we ended up taking Ian to the doctor while we there, and he had a double ear infection. Poor baby. While we were in Wyoming we enjoyed playing with cousins, seeing a few of our friends, tagging calves, and getting lots of Grandma and Grandpa time. Besides getting sick we had a great Spring break with our family.

Ian loved hanging out with Grandpa Bullinger while he worked cows.

Ian learned how to climb stairs at Grandma Asay's.

Testing Bulls

Ian loved hanging out the window when we tagged calves.

The Big Two Six

Yesterday was Matthew's 26th birthday. Poor guy had to go to school on his birthday. Usually we are on spring break during his birthday. But when he got home the partying started.  We enjoyed some dinner as a family, and later we had some friends over for cake and ice cream. Hope you have a wonderful birthday Matthew. Ian and I love you very much. Your the best husband and dad ever!

10 Months Old

On Saturday the 10th Ian turned 10 months old. It's so crazy to think that in just a short 2 months we will have a 1 year old. I feel like I was pregnant forever with Ian. He is growing too fast. We drove to Wyoming on his 10 month birthday. He now has a ear infection. Poor baby has had three so far in his life. He has still been a happy boy, and enjoying playing with his cousins. He loves to eat, mash potatoes and pizza are a few of his favorites. He has done so good with drinking formula now. He was an easy one to ween, and it's nice to have a little freedom. Ian is such a goer. He has taken about 6 steps on his own at one time. Before we know it he will be walking. He has thinned out a little from all his consistent moving all over the place. He is starting to look taller to me. Ian is getting lots of hair and it's kind of starting to look like a mini mullet. Oh well we will let it go for a while longer. He can say da da, ba ba, and sometimes uh oh. He loves to jabber. My favorite is when he is looking at his books it sounds like he is actually reading them out loud. It's the cutest thing ever. He has kind of grown out of eating all his baby food. Expect apple sauce and pears he likes a lot. Ian loves to be chased. Sometimes when you are chasing him he gets the giggles so hard. It's so funny, and a great workout. We love you to pieces Ian boy. We can't imagine our lives without you.

Just a Swingin

It was such a nice and sunny day today, so we decided to take Ian out to enjoy it. Our apartment complex has a little playground with a baby swing and a little slide. Ian did some swingin while we soaked in the sun. We also took him down the slide a few times. He really wasn't sure what to think about it. He had that "what are my parents doing to me" look on his face. Funny boy. We couldn't miss this opportunity to get out while it was so nice. Who knows how long this sunny weather will last. I am pretty sure it's just teasing us.Oh how I wish it was summer time.Hoping for more sunny days.
