14 months

Chloe girl is 14 months old now. She thinks she is about 4 or 5 though. She loves to do everything the big kids are doing. She is a quick learner too. She just adores her big brother, and follows him every where. She is such a little ham too. She has the cutest smile, and always has it on her face.
She can say moo when we ask her what a cow says.

She can blow kisses and give hugs. She loves her bottle only if it has milk in it. She is not a fan of water or juice it. She loves her blankets, reading books, playing outside and wearing shoes.
She keeps us on our toes, and is always getting into something or climbing something she isn't suppose to. She is such a mess maker.
We sure love our sass afrass little girl to pieces. It's so fun to watch her learn and grow.

26 and counting

I turned 26 years old today, and I had a wonderful birthday. My mom came over and brought pizza for lunch. She also brought me flowers and cake. While she was here I got a delivery of flowers from Matthew and the kids. That night Matthew's parents watch the kids so we could go on a date. We hit up the Rib&Chop in Cody. It was so fun to go on a date. Thanks everyone for all the birthday wishes. 26 feels pretty great!

Memorial Day 2014

We started our memorial day off with an Asay family dinner at Matthew's parents house. The kids play like crazy, and we enjoyed some yummy food.Then on the way to may parents house for dinner we went along with Matthew on a vet call.
We swung by the Otto cemetery to see my great grandparents grave and my grandpa Bullinger's as well. I sure to miss them, but I am so glad to have the memories I do with them. Thank goodness families can be together forever.
At my parents they kids swam and we ate more yummy food. The kids crashed on the way home and were out for the night.
We are so thankful this Memorial day for those who serve for our country. We are also thankful for all our family members who have passed who forever be remembered. Hope you all enjoyed your Memorial day!

When it rains it pours!!!

We have been praying for rain for a while, and we finally got a good little storm last weekend. It only rained for about 30 to 40 minutes but we got 1/2 a inch of rain. Earlier that day there was a tornado that touched down in Cowley the next town over. There was no damage, and we sure are glad. Just before the rain hit we headed to Matthew's parents. His mom was just getting her flowers planted, and the sprinklers were on in the yard. Ian was in heaven running through the sprinklers, and very sad when we had to go in because of rain.

It's 80 degrees!!

Last week it got really nice and warm in the 80's. The kids and I headed to my moms to play in the water for the day. The kids loved it!

We moved to Wyoming

We have moved to Wyoming.We had a crazy drive here but we are so glad to be moved. We were traveling with Matthew's parents. His parents were in the lead, and a tire came off a guys trailer and hit the front of their car. It was so scary, and we are so glad that they were safe. If that wasn't enough a couple hours later we got in an accident. We were driving just fine, and came upon a slushy/snowy road. We were doing great and had control until a car tried to pass us. They lost control and spun around in a 360. We switch lanes so they wouldn't hit us and we lost control. We hit the rail guard with our front and back bumpers. It was so scary. The car that made us loose control didn't even stop to make sure we were okay. We were so glad to be home safe after that trip. It was so crazy that the 4 years and we traveled on worse roads we never got in an accident until we were moving home.
 For the first week and a half we stayed with Matthew's parents while we painted and cleaned the little house down the road we are living in. We are super excited to be in a house with a yard. It has been fun to make this house our home. The kids are in love with all the room to run outside. Chloe has learned how to say cow and moo since we have been here living on the farm. The first night in our house Ian wasn't so sure about his new room, and slept with us. By the next day he was totally fine with it once we got all his blankets and toys in there.

Matthew is really liking his job, and is loving being a vet. It is such a relief to actually have him start work and like it. We know that we are in the right place, and so thankful for a great job. 

Goodbye Pullman!!

Our 4 years in Pullman have come to a end. It's so crazy how fast those 4 years flew by. When we moved to Pullman it was just Matthew and I. We double out numbers for our family while we were there. I am sure happy that we have our Washington babies.
Pullman has been a great place for us to start our family and rely on each other. We were so far from family that we had to make Pullman our home away from home. We also had a wonderful ward and close friends who were just like family to us.
I am so thankful for the friends we made, and all the great opportunities  had in Pullman.
I am going to miss all the fun girls nights, feeling like I had a million friends in our ward, neighbors that are always willing to help you, walks in Pullman with friends, park dates with friends, Pullman hospital and my doctor that did both my c sections. I hope I can find a great doctor here. I will also miss my kids doctor, Ian's therapist. They have been so much help in Ian's development, and he truly loves them, and so do I.
I will miss how people say the winters are so cold and snowy. They get lots of snow there, but not the negative degree weather like Wyoming.
Student life is hard, but we have made so many memories and life long friends along the way. We are excited to start our new chapter in Wyoming and Matthew starting his job as a Vet.
Leaving Pullman was harder then leaving Laramie I think. I cried when I moved there, and I bawled as we drove out of Pullman. Pullman is a wonderful place, and we will never forget it!

We will miss you Northwood Manor. You have made a great home for us the last 4 years. I just hope that the people that move into our old place love it as much as we did. 

Matthew Asay is now Dr. Asay

May 10, 2014 is a day we all have been waiting for a long time. Matthew has worked, and dreamed a long time about this day. I am so proud of Matthew and his hard work to pursue his dream of being a vet.
Friday night everyone arrived but my parents, and we headed over to the graduation reception. They had lots of yummy food, and a nice slide show playing. All the graduates made a slide of pictures of all the people that helped them through vet school.
Saturday before graduation we got together for a bbq with some of our closest friends and their families. Matthew, Billy, Jeff, Ryan and Phil have been best buddies all through vet school. I knwo that they will continue to stay in touch afterwards. I sure love all their wives as well. They are all like family to us, and we are so thankful that we were able to make such close friends while we were in Pullman.
Graduation was so exciting. Matthew was the 2nd person to walk across to get his diploma. I was shaking so much I didn't get very good pictures of his crossing by. Then once I got to see Matthew afterwards I started bawling. It is such an accomplishment for both of us and our family.
We are so thankful for all the support from friends and family who helped us get to this point. It's pretty cool to call Matthew Dr. Asay now too.

Ian is 3!!

Ian turned 3 years old on a very busy day. Matthew graduated on the same day. We were so lucky to have my parents, Matthew's parents, grandpa Monk and uncle Dave there to celebrate both graduation and Ian turning 3. We started the day off with going to Stan and Jan's hotel room and skyping with Jacob who is serving his mission in Ukraine. After doing that Ian got a great nap before the graduation party. At the party we had a Mickey birthday cake for Ian, and everyone sang to him.
Ian is such a happy boy, but most defiantly keeps us on his toes. He just goes, goes, goes until he crashes. I think he will make the track team once he starts school for sure. :)
Ian loves to eat mac and cheese, candy ( any kind), cheese, waffles, pancakes, bacon, cereal, drink milk and juice, love to eat meat and loves happy meals. He doesn't like ice cream. In fact he will gag watching someone else eat ice cream sometimes.
Ian loves to be outside. He really loves that we are living in a house now, where he has lots of room to run. When he gets up in the morning he begs to go outside as soon as he finishes breakfast.
Ian has the best and most contagious smile and laugh. It will put a smile on anyone's face. Ian is such a smart boy, and loves to read books, do puzzles and do anything with technology. He really knows how to run the Ipad better then I do.
I am so proud of Ian for working so hard in therapy, and for how much he has progressed. He has so much more eye contact, and understanding of situations then he did almost a year ago in July.
Ian, we love you very much, and are so blessed to have you in our family. There are some days that hard super hard for both us and you, but we still love you. You teach us to count our blessings, and to appreciate the simple things in life. Ian you are growing up to be an amazing, smart boy. We love you!
