1 month..

I feel like Chloe has been part of our family for years, but it's only been a month. We sure do love our sweet baby girl. She loves to cuddle and loves being super warm. Chloe sleeps about 5-7 hours straight at night, and takes plenty of cat naps during the day.She sleeps best during the day when I am holding her. I could sit and hold her all day as well if there wasn't other things to get done. :) I am loving a baby that sleeps at night also. I am crossing my fingers that she stays this way. We have done a little bit of tummy time, and she actually kind of likes to be on her tummy. Ian thinks it's cool when she lays on the floor as well. He also loves when she lays in his play tent with him. Chloe will take a bottle and binky. This made our trip to Wyoming a lot quicker last week because I could pump in the car.  Chloe has grown out of newborn diapers, and her newborn clothes are also getting a bit tight. We are so happy that Chloe is in our little family. We are so excited to watch her grow and learn.

We love when Dad comes home from school.

We utilize our bouncer seat a lot. Ian loves to sit in it too.

Just swinging

Sitting and watching her brother run wild.

What a cute baby sister Ian has.

Out for the next few hours..

Love those chubby cheeks

Tummy time

So strong, holding her head up.

Chloe's Baby Blessing...

This last weekend we took a long drive to Wyoming. We were able to see lots of our family and bless Chloe on Sunday. Matthew gave Chloe a wonderful blessing. I was so worried she could cry through the whole blessing. She was crying all the way up until I handed her to Matthew. I sure am happy for a husband who is worthy to bless our children. I didn't get any pictures of just Chloe in her blessing dress. My young women's leader in high school made her dress, and it was beautiful. I may have to put her in it again and snap a picture soon. We are so glad we were able to bless Chloe with all our family there. We may not be able to go visit again until the end of September. So it was so good to see everyone.

All six of the Asay boys. It will be a couple of years before they are all together again.

Matthew was able to AI his dad's cows and brand the horses while we were visiting.

It was Ian's first time meeting Matthew's brother Jared. He warmed up to him  quickly, and they were buddies.

Sunday Best

Yesterday was Chloe's first time going to church. She handled it like a champ and slept most the time. We decided to take a few pictures before we left for church. These were the best of the 4 or 5 pictures we took. :)

23 months

Ian is 23 months old today. Only one more month until he turns two. Wish we could be in Wyoming with all our family this summer, so we could celebrate with them. But it will be fun to do a little party here too. I feel like we just had his 1st birthday like yesterday. He is so big now.
-He still loves Mickey. He also likes Wheel of Fortune and Jake and the Neverland Pirates.
-He is such an artist. He loves to color, paint and do sidewalk chalk. He says "calaa, calaa" while doing so.
-He has shown some interest  in his little sister, but refuses to kiss, hug or hold her. He has adjusted quite well for his age I think.
-Loves racing his cars on his car track. He says "ca, ca" for car.
-He gets so excited when Matthew comes home. He gets really wound up, and runs around the house crazy. He loves when his Dad throws him in the air.
-He gags at the site of play dough. We have tried it multiple times, but still gags.
-He will gag when he doesn't want to eat something.
-He loves candy and anything sweet
-Loves throwing and kicking balls around. Matthew bought him a huge green ball when we came home from the hospital. He loves it!
-He likes to sit in Chloe's car seat, bouncer and swing.
- He loves to do anything he is not suppose to. For example turning on the dishwasher and running off laughing. He totally knows he is not suppose to do it.
-He climbs everything.  Ian is our little monkey
-He loves mac and cheese, cheese, bread, cheerios, fruit snacks, chocolate, pudding, gold fish, apple sauce, hot dogs, and will eat anything we drench with ranch or ketchup.
-He sings wheels on the bus, twinkle twinkle little star, hot dog hot dog from Mickey, head shoulders knees and toes, and itsy bitsy spider
-He loves singing and reading books.
- He will get on all fours and go around the house barking or meowing
-Ian loves stickers too..
-His hair sticks up all over no matter how much gel I put in it. Reminds me of his Grandpa Bullinger's hair :)

Ian boy we love you to pieces and couldn't imagine our little family without you.

Visitors

We loved having my Mom here for about 10 days to help with Ian and Chloe. It was so nice to have a few extra hands around to help. Especially with Ian because I couldn't lift him after my c-section. My Dad, Sister Bethany and Matthew's Mom came up Saturday to pick my mom up, and meet Chloe. It was a quick trip for them, but we sure are glad they got to come.
