Bathroom and Kitchen Remodling

I have been so lucky today. I had carpet one guys knocking on my door at 8 this morning to put new tile in my kitchen. Oh was I excited to get rid of that old, rusted, hard to clean tile. And they finished it in about 3 hours. It looks super nice now. And we also are finally getting our new tub we have been asking our manager for. Our bathroom is a mess right now, and they weren't able to finish it today. So I guess that means that I wont be taking a shower tonight. But I'm super excited to get it all done.

Chruch Callings

Its crazy how bishops are always being sure that the new members in the ward don't fall through the cracks. lol. Matthew and I both now have callings in our new ward Spring Creek Ward. I just received mine last night. I have been called to serve in the young women as the 2nd counsel. I'm pretty excited about it. And the ladies that I get to work with seem really nice and will be tons of fun to get to know better. It will be a fun learning experience for me to be with the young women. I always loved my leaders and loved young women's, and after thinking it wasn't that long ago that I was in young women's. So this will be a super fun calling. Matthew as I mentioned before has been called to be the financial assistant clerk in our ward. Its a huge change from being YSA president. But he will be amazing at it I know it.

Our Weekend

This last weekend Matthew and a bunch of his buddies went down the Provo to the Byu vs Wyoming game. Wyoming lost of course. lol. But they had tons of fun. Matthew was able to meet up with a few of his mission buddies and spend some time with them also. I had my Mom, Baby sister Bethany, and Brother Jake down for the weekend for a little party of my own. It was a lot of fun to see them and be able to spend some time with them. We took a trip to Ft. Collins of Saturday and did a little shopping. That was alot of fun. You know us girls we love to shop. Saturday night Matthew called me and told me that when he got home Sunday that a member of the stake high counsel was coming over to meet with us. That was a surprise, I was for sure Matthew was getting a stake calling. My family left Sunday morning and Matthew got home around 4ish. Then the stake high counsel men came over and Matthew is now Spring Creeks executive financial sectary. So that will be an exciting and learning calling for him. And I support him all the the way. We both missed each other so much. You never know how hard to it is to not sleep with your hunny till they are gone for a couple of days. And it was way hard for me to sleep with him. I'm so glad that he is home now, but glad that he got to have a fun weekend with his friends.

Fun with Stetson

Every Friday I get to babysit Stetson. Emily subs at the high school, so I am so happy to help out. He is such a blast. He has figured out where we put all our treat though, so every time he comes that's what he goes for first. I guess we spoil him too much. He has his own little names for Matthew and I. Matthew is: Dadoo and I am: Lalene. I just love having fun with Stetson, he is such a happy baby. I glad that we get to live next to Michael & Emily so we can party with them.

Our First Homemade Meal

After we finally got our house organized. We got sometime to make our first home meal together. We hadn't gone and got alot of things to cook with , but we had taco stuff. So we made tacos and Spanish rice. We couldn't find the re fried beans at Wal-Mart so we made our own with Kidney beans. They weren't all smashed us like they should be, but they tasted amazing. One of my favorite things is that Matthew is always willing to help me with dinner. Its great and I love him so much!

Recieving my Endowments

The first time through the temple was a little scary, and I was a bit nervousy for sure. But I never felt at any time I was doing the wrong thing, it felt right the whole time. I felt the spirit so strongly that day. I had all my family, Matthew, and his parents all there with me. It was a great experience. After we got out of the temple, Matthew had a gift for me. He got me brand new scriptures with Charlene Asay on them. He so good at surprising me. I love them.We also took a few pictures while on the temple ground. It was a really neat day, and I am so happy for the blessing I received and the spirit I felt at the Temple.

Home Sweet Home

We both going to school at the University of Wyoming, so our first apartment is just off campus. It's on Rainbow Ave. We really enjoy it, because its low income housing, and its close to school and its our home. Our official move in day was the 23rd of August. We had tons of help. Jan and Grandpa Charlie helped load everything up and move it down here for us. Then we had Joel Roberston, Michael ( Matthew's older brother), Jake Bishoff, and Kyle Clark helping move us in. I had Jan and Emily helping me organizing things. It was a little crazy for a while, but once we got everything were we wanted it , the place looked amazing. I am so thankful for all the help from everyone. It means alot. When we got here our toilet had a purple foam seat on it. We still haven't purchased another one yet. We have been meaning to but just haven't had time to. Most of our furniture that we own is used that family gave us. Which saved us on alot of money. The one thing that we did buy was a bedroom set. Its my favorite, it looks really nice in our new apartment.
