Saturday Adventures

Today Matthew and I were talking about Borsch a Russian soup, and we decided to make some. And since Matthew served his mission he knows how to make it. So we ran to Wal-Mart and got all the different ingredients then started cookin it. Matthew also made Smentana that goes on top of the soup. It turned out amazing, and delicious. We invited Emily and Michael over to enjoy the soup with us. We also took Stetson and Emily out to the State Vet Lab where Matthew works, to look at all the animals. Stetson loved it. We got to see the Buffalo, Turkeys, Sheep, Mice, and Rabbits. We are now going to go to the movies to watch Dark Night, and I am so excited, Matthew and I have seen once before and loved it. And we liked it so much we are going again.

2 Month Anniversary

Yesterday was our 2 month anniversary. I know it hasn't been a year or longer, but we try to do something for every month. Last night we went out and ate Chinese. Michael, Emily and Stetson came along for the celebration. This last two months has been the most amazing ever being married to Matthew, and I know its just going to get better and better. I love him more and more everyday. He is the best husband ever, he takes great care of me, and works so hard. Matthew is always making sure things are okay with me, and he always wants me happy. He works two jobs and works so hard, and I know he does it all because he loves me. I feel extremely blessed to have a husband like Matthew. I don't know where I would be without him, he's my best friend. Matthew is my world, and I love him forever, and I look forward to a hundred more monthly anniversaries.

MaryKay Makeover

Today, my sister Sam and her roommate Kylie and I went a Marykay makeover. It is always fun to do makeovers. And we learned lot too, I learned that there are different colors not just my normal makeup I can use, and they look great. It was fun to catch up with the girl that did the makeover because she is from Burlington ( my home town). She has the cutest baby, and it was super fun to see how great she is doing. We had tons of fun, and it was great to have some pamper time for ourselves. If your looking for a Marykay consultant let me know, and I will get you a number.

Weekend in McCook

This last weekend Matthew and I went to McCook, Nebraska to go to Christian and Jill's new baby's blessing. Friday night Matthew's parents got to our house about 2 in the morning, and stayed for the night. Then we had breakfast with Emily and Michael , Jan gave a few haircuts for the boys, and we were off to McCook. It is about a 5 hour drive to McCook. Matthew and I rode down with his parents. We stopped in Cheyenne and ate lunch with Stan's brother Bruce at his favorite Mexican restaurant. Then it was off on the road again. Matthew drove the whole way, so that it would give his parents a break from driving the night before. It was a really pretty drive, tons of farm land. When we got to their house they had dinner and stayed up telling stories and laughing. Matthew and I slept on a blow up mattress, not our most amazing sleep ever. It was a flat mattress by the time we woke up. Christian and Jill go to a little branch, and I mean little. But the blessing was so good, and their sacerment meeting was really good also. It was a bummer to have to leave and say good bye, but we had a great weekend.

2- Where did you meet? In powell at the student ward. Then down in laramie at church, and I went to his house a couple of times to play games.
3- How long did you date before you were married? 5 months. We really knew it would work from the beginning
4- How long have you been married for? almost two months
5- Who said I love you first? Matthew did
6- When and where was your first kiss? On our second date
7- Who kissed who first? Matthew did. I was not even expecting a kiss. It was a huge surprised.
8- Who proposed? Matthew, on the Billings Montana temple grounds. I thought we were going to go ring shopping. He surprised me again, he had already bought it. He got down on one knee and asked me if I would marry him. And he was always asking me if i would some day, and I would say yes. So I was ya of course I will, but get us u are getting all wet, because it was raining. but then he brought out a ring. I was so shocked. It was amazing.
9-What's your favorite thing to do as a couple? Going out to eat. Just sitting at home cuddling on the couch watch tv and talking.
10-Do you have kids? How many? nope we don't have any yet.
11- What does he do that surprises you? He is always surprising me. He helps me out all the time around the house. And just little things. They mean so much. He does some big ones, like the new scriptures when I recieved me endownments that was a huge surprise
12- What's your favorite feature about him? his smile, everytime I see it , it makes me crazy. I love everything about him.
13- What's your favorite quality about him? He will do anything for me, as long as I am happy. And he is such a hard worker. I love that

Dry Head

This last weekend Matthew and I went home to help his family wean calf's up in dry head.
We got there just in time friday night to watch Jared's football game and Jacob was playing in the marching band. Matthew and I got to sleep in the bunk beds. Funny story is we both slept on one. I was just going to lay there for a few minutes with Matthew but ended up falling asleep there. It was not a very comfortable night, but the next night we got the big bed. Dry head is beautiful this time of year. I wish I would of remembered my camera so you all could see. Plus it was my first time being up there with the family. The guys rode all day rounding up calf's And Jan, Emily, Jill, and I sat around camp and made lunch and watched all the little kids. It was tons of fun. We were all beat from sitting in the sun all day. Sunday Matthew and I headed to Burlington to go to church with my parents.Then monday night Christian and Jill stayed with us again. It was great to see their new baby boy Travis, he is such a cutie. It was such a good weekend, and fun to see everyone.
