Santa...

Yesterday, we took Ian to the mall to sit on Santa's lap. I just knew he was going to cry, but he didn't even shed a tear. He just tried to figure out who the big guy with a white beard was.

Here in Wyoming...

Ian and I are still here in Wyoming while Matthew takes his finals. He will be studying like crazy, so we decided to just stay here for a while, so he can get lots done. It's going to be super hard to be away from him for almost three weeks. This will be the longest we have ever been apart, but it will be fun to be with family. The last few days of Matthew's Thanksgiving break he did a lot of preg-testing. He helped his Grandpa, and Uncle out. Then on Friday he helped his Uncle Clark do his Dad's cows. It's great that he gets all that practice in. Yesterday, Matthew's Mom and I took Matthew is Laurel, MT to meet up with a friend to ride back to Pullman with. After dropping him off bright and early we enjoyed a day of shopping. We got some great deals. It was a really fun day. Thanks Jan for such a fun day. Ian is crawling now. It's so fun how all a sudden he just started crawling. He also waves at people too. The cutest thing ever.

Thanksgiving 2011

We had a great Thanksgiving this year. We enjoyed dinner with the Asay family with lots of yummy food. Later we headed to my families for dessert and left overs. I am so thankful for my family. Especially for my wonderful husband and Ian. Love them to pieces.

6 months...

Ian turned 6 months on the 10th, but yesterday was his 6 month well child appointment. He loves the doctor, but not so much the nurse that gives him shots. 6 months is great. Ian sleeps better, he plays on his own better, and he just has all a sudden become a easier baby. He can't  sit up on his own yet, but he has almost got crawling down. I am sure by Christmas he will have it. His first tooth has popped through. The doctor told me that he can now have more solids. I said like crackers? He said yes! I couldn't believe it, but my baby is still so little. He really is growing up too fast. We also tried a sippy cup yesterday. He likes it. Ian just likes to eat, so he will take anything. He loves when his dad whistles, and sings to him. He thinks his dad is hilarious. Little sounds like the blow dryer, or kitchen aid freak him out. He is just a little jumpy.  We just recently found out he is ticklish on this thighs. Sometimes he gets the giggles, which is the cutest thing. He loves cell phones. He tries to get mine and Matthew's all the time. So we found him one of our old phones to play with.  We love this cute boy, and are so blessed to have him in our family. Can't believe our baby is a  half a year old already.

Ian's 6 Month Stats:
Height: 26 1/2 inches- 50%
Weight: 18 pounds- 55%
Head: 18 inches- 90%

Adventuring out into the blizzard outside.

Ian gets to everything now..

Almost Crawling....

Ian is so close to crawling. He just can't figure out how to move his arms. He does the cutest push ups though.  He also loves to tear up his Dad's cow magazines. The other day we found him, and he had shredded a magazine, and his face was all black from the ink. Love this baby boy.

Snow..

Today we got our first snow of the season. It was really wet snow, and just melted away. It  made me not excited for the cold, snowy winter time. I got Ian all dressed up his new winter coat, and beanie.( His new coat might be a little big, but he will grow into it). He was as excited as I was till I put him in his car seat to go to walking group. He screamed all the way there. Poor baby couldn't move in that big puffy coat. Boo for cold weather.
Kind of looks a little worried right here..

He knows Mom thinks he cute, so he is happy .
