Ian's 2 year stats

Our Ian boy is growing like a weed. He is a mover and a goer. He loves to color. The other day I left him in the living room for two minutes with crayons and a coloring book. I came back and he just about had my whole living room colored. Little pumpkin. :) He loves to be outside, reading books, coloring, playing in he dirt, climbing things, jumping on and off the couches,  playing with his car race track, he loves to be thrown in the air by his Dad, loves Mickey Mouse with all his heart :), loves to put toilet paper in the toilet, and loves his stuffed beaver. We sure do love this sweet boy of ours. He is the happiest, cutest boy ever. We are so loved by our Heavenly Father and blessed to be his parents.

Beaver

Ian loves his stuffed Beaver to pieces. Literally to pieces  It's eyeballs are starting to come out, because he chews on it so much. We have to wash it at least every couple of weeks because it starts stinking.Mr. Beaver is starting to look pretty ragged these days. It is one loved Beaver.

Happy Mothers Day

I love this video from lds.org and talk by Jeffery R. Holland. http://www.lds.org/general-conference/1997/04/because-she-is-a-mother?lang=eng&cid=facebook-shared
They both are just what I needed to watch. Being a Mom is not always the easiest job, in fact it is the hardest job. But being a Mom is the most rewarding job. I am a Mom that loves nap times and bed times, but as soon as they are asleep I miss my sweet babies. Ian and Chloe are my world, and they make being a Mom the best thing in the world. I am thankful for my Mom and Matthew's Mom. I know that it was not easy always to raise either one of us, but Matthew and I both appreciate their hard work and love. I am thankful for all the wonderful examples of Mothers in my life. I have wonderful Grandma's, Great- Grandma's, Moms, Aunts, Sister in-laws and friends who are wonderful examples to me. Hope you all have a wonderful Mothers Day! I hope you remember how blessed you are to be a Mom. I feel very blessed and loved by my Heavenly Father to be a Mom to two beautiful children.

Here is my beautiful hanging flower that Matthew and the kids got me this year. I sure to have a wonderful husband and kids. Love them to pieces.

Birthday Celebration

We started Ian's birthday out by going to the park with our friends the Kings. We played and ate way to many cupcakes. Then on the way home Ian took a little snooze. After he woke up we ate some lunch, and got to see Matthew for a few minutes. Then we headed to our friends the Hansen's for an afternoon of slip and sliding. Ian never actually did the slip and slide, but played outside. The partying did not end there... We ended the day with a pizza party with friends, and lots of playing. We all partied hard for Ian's 2nd birthday. You are one loved little boy, Ian boy!
Thanks to all Ian's grand-parents for the gifts and cards. He loves them all.

He looks huge in this picture.

Ian might of had three cupcakes at the park. A little spoiled.

Why not a little bit of Mickey watching before bed.

Guess who is 2

Ian boy's 2nd birthday is today. Where has another year gone??? Who knows, but this little boy is growing up way to fast for my liking. I feel like it was just yesterday that I was holding him in my arms for the first time. I remember the very first time I heard him cry, and it still brings me to tears. Ian boy you are my sweet, sweet baby boy forever. Your dad and I love you dearly, and are so happy you chose to come to our family 2 years ago. Happy birthday big boy!

4th year has begun....

Matthew started his first day of 4th year vet school yesterday. This year will be full of different rotations that Matthew has scheduled to meet his own interests. It is so crazy to think that just 3 years ago we moved to Pullman for him to start vet school. We were both so excited that he got into vet school on the first round of applying, but nervous about moving so far away from home. We have made Pullman our home though, and we have made so many friends. Pullman is also where we started our little family, and we are so happy to have two beautiful children now. Every time I think that in a year from now Matthew will have conquered his dream to be a vet, it brings tears to my eyes. I am pretty sure the day he graduates I will be bawling. He has wanted this since he was little, and I have wanted it so badly for him as well. This year of rotations is going to be tough, but I know it will all pay off in the end. I love Matthew so much, and I am cheering him on his way to being a vet. We have some hard and exciting times to come in the next year. We are excited to see what is in store for our family. I am so lucky to have such an amazing husband who is so dedicated to what he loves to do. He is going to be an awesome Doc Asay, and I can hardly wait to call him that. :)
