Melt Your Heart...

Ian changes every day. It is so crazy to me how fast the last few months have gone by. Ian has started talking lots to us, and smiling even more. He does better at tummy time, and doesn't cry the whole time. He also loves to lay on his back and watch the ceiling fan. Friday night Jan and I took Ian, Kandace, and Stetson to "Cars 2". Ian sat wide eyed watching the movie for the first twenty minutes, and then he slept through the rest of it. It was so fun to see him sit that still for that long watching a movie. He loves when we read his touch and feel animal books to him. He also likes doing patty cake, five little monkeys, and itsy bitsy spider. I just love his dimples when he smiles. The best is when I am talking to someone and look at him, and he will be smiling at me. He makes me smile every time. Ian sucks on his fists all the time, and drools all over. I can't keep a dry shirt on this little guy. I kind of think he is going to be a thumb sucker once he discovers it. Ian is also a super pooper. We go through so many diapers, but at least we know he is healthy.  This little boy is our world now.  We sure are proud parents of our sweet little boy.

The Causeway

We have had record snow pack and rain fall for the Big Horn Basin this year which has filled the Causeway. This is very impressive because it is usually just a winding river running through it. Today after church Matthew, Ian and I went for a ride to check it out. There were maybe a dozen trucks out there unloading their boats. It's so crazy to see all this water out there.

Dryhead Part One & Two

We got all the cows up the Dryhead this last week. Monday evening we took off around 5, and the guys chased the cows half way. They rode till about eleven that night. Carson even rode all by his self for the first time, and did so well. Jill, Jan, all the little boys, and I rode in the suburban along with the guys on their horses. Wednesday evening we took off around 4 to chase the cows the rest of the way. While they were saddling up the horses I was standing by the horse trailer with Ian talking to Matthew. One the the horses ( LT) spooked and jumped right on my right foot. I am so glad I held on to Ian, and wasn't knocked over. My foot turned black right after it all happened. It is pretty bruised up now and still a little swollen, but I am sure I didn't break anything. I am sure the guys are all excited to have the cows in the summer pasture for a while. We sure enjoy working together as a family on the farm.

Over Night Trip to Billings

I took my Praxis1 test this weekend in Billings. I had to be there at 7:30 in the morning, so my Mom, Sister Sam and I decided to make into a weekend in Billings. We took off around noon on Friday and got up there and did a little shopping, and ate dinner at Texas Road House. Ian didn't sleep well that night. He woke up every two hours to eat. He hasn't done that for a long time. Although I didn't get much sleep I still had to take my test Saturday morning. I think it went well, and pray it did. Ian was such a good boy while he stayed with my Mom and Sister for 4 hours. That is the first time I have left him ever. Ian and I had a blast in Billings shopping, and hanging out with Grandma Bullinger and Aunt Sam.

Ian took a bottle so good while I was taking my test.

He was so mad but we needed a picture of his crazy hair.

Look how serious he is...

I got some new shades on our shopping trip

Ian loves reading animal books

Ian's 2 month Doctor visit

Today Ian had his 2 month doctor's appointment. He is actually 2 and half months old now, but today was the day I could get him in to the pediatrician. He did so good getting his shots. He just cried for a second, and once I held him he was fine. The doctor said that he is doing great, and was very impressed that he had rolled over all ready. Ian has been growing like a weed. He loves to lay on the floor and watch the ceiling fan. He also is quite the talker, and smiles lots. He has been sleeping pretty good most nights. He goes about 4 to 5 hours at a time before waking up to eat. We sure do love our happy baby boy. He has been such a blessing in our lives. Matthew and I coudn't imagine our life without Ian.
Ian's Stats
Weight: 11.8 pounds: 50%
Height: 23 1/2 inches: 75%

Branding

The guys have been working hard to get the cows all ready to head to Dryhead on Monday. The last few days that have been separating the cows, and last night they branded them.
