Utah Trip

My mom, sisters, Ian and I took a trip to Utah this last week. We met up with Sam and Brandy in Rock Springs to check out Sam's new apartment, then headed the rest of the way on Thursday. We stayed at my great Aunt Charlotte's, and enjoyed spending time with her, and other family members. We did lots of shopping, played at the splashed pad at the mall, went to the zoo and visited with lots of family that we had not seen for a while. Ian was a champ at shopping and traveling as long as I was around. He just wasn't use to the new people and places we were. We had such a fun time though.

Ordained an Elder

On July 15th my little brother was ordained an Elder. I can hardly believe he is that old. I remember like it was yesterday that he was my little buddy when he was little. He was able to have lots of family there for his special day. We are all so proud of him.

Fishing In The Dark

For fhe yesterday we went up to the Big Horns with our friends the Whitaker's. Trevor cooked up some yummy steaks, and we had some salads to go along with them. It looked like it was going to storm on us on the way up, but it only rained for a little bit. We enjoyed hanging out with Trevor and Andrea, and fishing for a little bit. Tell, their baby boy woke up, and has been teething lately, so he was not happy. They took off for home, and we stayed until it got too dark to fish. We only caught three fish, but it was a great family night!

Ultrasounding

Matthew has really enjoyed being on the farm for the summer. He has got lots of vet practice while we have been here. Yesterday he had the opportunity to ultrasound his Dad's heifers. It was fun to see the baby calves inside the heifers on the ultrasound machine.

Little Monkey

Ian climbs on everything! He has figured out how to get the gate open at the Asay's, and climbs to the top of the stairs. When ever someone goes out the door, he climbs on the back of the couch, and looks out the window to wave at them. He can also climb on just about every chair in the house.  He is such a little monkey!

Road trip

Yesterday, Ian and I took a little road trip with my Grandma and Mom to Lander, WY. My Aunt Tammy and her family live there, and we got to visit with them for the day. My cousin Angela and I are the same age, and it was so great to see her and meet her baby Garrett. We had a great day chatting and catching up with each other.

1st Hair Cut

Kasi gave Ian his 1st hair cut today. He sat pretty good since there was a sucker and squirt bottle involved.Thanks Kasi for a super cute hair cut. Ian is lookin like a big boy now!
