Pullman Christmas

When Matthew got home from Boise on Wednesday we did our little Christmas with the kids that night.
Ian likes his Mr. Potato Head and puzzle

Chloe's toy was great for both Ian and Chloe. Ian was chewing on Chloe's doll I made.

Love my sweet family!

Christmas pjs

This year I decided to make Christmas pjs for the kids. I found a pattern online for Ian's, but just winged it with Chloe's. They turned out so cute. Besides that Chloe busted out of hers. I made a new pair for her that fit now. Not to bad for the first time sewing pjs. I think I will make it a tradition every year. Heck maybe I will make Matthew and I some as well next year. ;)

Packages make us happy

A few weeks ago Ian and Chloe got a package in the mail from their grandpa and grandma Asay. Ian was so excited he kissed me when we took a picture to send to them. Ian doesn't give us kisses often. It's usually us kissing him. Melts my heart when he kisses me. I have the sweetest boy ever!

Chloe you are getting too big!!!

Stop growing my baby girl. I ran across this picture looking at pictures on my phone the other day. Chloe is a giant sitting in Ian's chair. We love you Chloe, but you are almost 9 months old. How did that happen??? You were literally born yesterday I swear...

Chores

Ian loves to help me mop, sweep, or vacuum. Matthew caught this picture of me etching him how to vacuum the floor. It's a daily or should be a daily chore at our house ;)

While dad is gone...

We have missed him like crazy! Matthew has been in Boise for the past week on a oration at the humane society. It has been a great experience for him,and has got to do over 30 surgeries so far. I am so thankful to his uncle Eric and aunt Vicki who have taken such great care of him while staying with them. We only have 4 more days until he comes home. Then we are off to Wyoming for Christmas.

How does my house get so messy???

I went to check on Ian and he we running under his fitted sheet. He must of been doing something he should of been doing.

Grandma Crimm

My grandma Crimm passed away last night. She suffered from dementia for 14 years. It's very sad to hear that she has passed away, but also brings joy to me to think of the wonderful reunion she is having with her dad in heaven. I sure wish that I knew my grandma better. She lived in Mississippi, where my mom grew up. We would talk to her on the phone lots when we were younger, and we went to visit just a handful of times. I do know that my grandma was a very loving and kind person. The last time we went to visit her was when I was a senior in high school. She was always so much fun, and made us all laugh. As soon as we would see her she would tell us "to get over here and give her some sugar." I remember going to the store with her while visiting in Mississippi, and her calling the shopping cart a buggy. We laughed at her for days for calling it that. We had never heard that before being from Wyoming. I remember the last time we were in Mississippi, all us girls were in the bathroom at great grandmas with grandma. We were all doing our hair. Grandma was teasing her hair. She said, "I have teased my hair my whole life, it can't be good for it, but I just keep doing it." A chunk of her hair came out with her comb after she was done teasing it. She laughed at herself, and said " oh well it grows back right." I seriously think of that laughing moment with her just about every time I tease my hair. Although I don't have a lot of memories with my grandma, I know she loved me. She loved her family so much and still does. I wish I could of known her more, but I look forward to someday seeing her again. Of course having more laughing moments with her. Love you grandma. We will miss you until we meet again.
