Best session yet

Ian is just taking off in his speech sessions. On Mondays I leave him there with just Keri his therapist and the intern that is working there until May. Keri's office is so tiny that its too crowed if Chloe and I join on Mondays. I still get to go on Wednesdays though. I love being there to hear the words he says. Yesterday I went to pick him up, and Keri was all ready with a progress report for me. She said it was the best session she had ever had with him. Here are a list of words he said:
- dog
-mumbled blue cup
-all gone
-all done
-ya when asked a question
-bubble
-color
-around and around
Other words he has said with Chelsea:
-there
-I did
-ball
-go
-color
-signing more again
I was so excited to hear all of these words he had said. He is really taking off with things. I am going to be so sad when we have to leave Keri and Chelsea who have been amazing for Ian. We sure love Ian boy, and are so proud of him. He has had so much progress in not that long of time. We are so blessed to have Ian in our family. He is such a sweet boy, and melts my heart.

10 months

Our Chloe girl turned 10 months old today. In just two months she will be a year old. The time has flown by. I know I say that a lot , but it truly has.
At 10 months Chloe:
-Walks all over now. She could take about 10 steps about two weeks ago, but just took off with it after that.
-Eats big people food, and refuses mushy baby food
-Has to do, eat, and have whatever her big brother has
-Has a fake laugh and cough
-Signs all done
-Says done, mama, dada, and ya
-Waves bye bye, gives kisses and likes to point at things
- Loves drinking out of her sippy cup
- Loves music, she likes to lead the music, sing, and dance
-Sleeps all through the night. She wakes up around 4 or 5 to eat usually
- Favorite foods are mac and cheese, cheese sticks, yogurt, smoothies, apples, bananas, mandarin oranges, peaches, yogurt bites, baby cheetos and animal crackers. So pretty much she will eat anything you give her.
- She weighs over 18 pounds I think
We sure do love our Chloe girl. She is such a fun girl. I am excited to see her grow. Love you like crazy baby girl.

It's official !!!!

Matthew passed his National Boards to become a vet. He has worked so hard for this.We have worked so hard for this. I am so glad that he is finally meeting his goals and dreams to be a vet. I am so proud of him. Now the countdown begins for graduation. Only three more months lefts. Yahoo!

Life lately

We have been pretty boring lately, but of course busy all at the same time. I haven't blogged in 2014 yet, so  I thought I better get on it.
Matthew has been keeping busy this month so far. He had small animal over nights last week. I am so glad he is done with overnights. He had to be at the vet hospital at 8 pm then wouldn't get home until 8:30 every morning. We had him home all day, but not really because he was sleeping. Right now he is on anesthesia for another two weeks I believe. It has been a pretty low key rotation so far. He is seriously getting so close to being done. After the anesthesia rotation he goes to Colorado with Jeff for 10 days or so. Then we have vacation for a week. Which we may be traveling to Malta, MT for our vacation. Matthew has a job offer there, and I would like to see the town. Then he will be gone for a while after that in Sunnyside, WA. He will be two weeks at the dairy there, then two weeks at the hospital here and then two weeks at the dairy. After the dairy rotation he wont have any more traveling to do. By then it will be well into April. Which means it will almost be May. Which means graduation on the 10th of May. It will be on Ian's birthday, so I hope our parents all get to come. It will be a big celebration that day.
We are currently looking at three different jobs seriously. We have one in Malta, MT, Buffalo, WY and Powell, WY that we really like. It's so hard to choose right now. We really want to be close to family badly, but we have to be sure we have everything we need there. Because Ian had Autism this throws another loop in the job hunting. We have been doing lots of praying and research to know where to go. Still not sure, but I am sure we will know soon.
I have been super busy doing what stay at home moms do. Going to Ian's therapy sessions, house work (not as often as it should be done), cooking meals, playing with kiddos, enjoying the kids nap times,  changing diapers, giving baths, cuddles/kisses, teaching my kids and loving my kids and husband. I have also been callings and emailing every person I can to find out more about what is offered for children with Autism in both Wyoming and Montana. Did I mention I love my life though. Being a mom is the most rewarding job ever. I love being a wife too. I feel very blessed every single day.
Ian is doing wonderful. I love being able to be in each of his therapy sessions. In speech I swear lately he has been saying a new word each time we go. His words he can say are done, out, bubble, up, open, uh oh, around,go, wow and ya. He works so hard and I am a very proud mama. We have started giving him Melatonin at night to help him calm down to sleep. I think it has really helped him sleep better. Ian has started showing lots of interest in letters. He got a ABC puzzle for Christmas, and he can do the whole thing. He is very good at puzzles, putting things together, coloring, his Ipad. He amazes me on his Ipad what he knows what to do. He is growing so much. He literally comes up to a little pass my hips. Doesn't take much to be taller then his mom, but he is huge all a sudden. He is such a smart and happy boy.
Chloe is getting so big. She is seriously starting to walk. She can take 6-7 steps with out falling. She can go from her knees to her feet without holding on to anything. She has six teeth now, and loves eating big kid food. No more baby food for her. She wont touch it. She will touch her head when we say head, she waves, signs all done, says done sometimes, saying something that sounds like ya and loves her brother so much. She has been doing great with the sleep training. Ever since I started just laying her in her bed with no rocking she only wakes up once to eat. Sometimes not until 6 or 7 in the morning. I love it. I can't believe my baby girl will be 1 in just two months. Where has the time gone??
We are really looking forward to 2014, and the fun and new things that are around the corner for our family.

Happy New Year!!!

We rang the New Year with our friends the King's. We started our count down about 4 hours early, but had a blast. We ate lots of yummy food, played a game of Twister and had lots of confetti. Chloe was not a fan of the confetti shooters, but Ian sure loved them.
Some of our memories from 2013 were:
1: Ian started speech therapy
2: Matthew turned 27
3: Sam and Evan got married
4: Chloe joined out family
5: Ian turned 2
6: Matthew started his 4 year rotations
7: I turned 25
8: Cousin Easton was born
9: We spent the summer in Pullman for the first time since moving to Washington.
10: Cousin Paige was born
11: Ian was diagnosed with Autism in July. We were so happy to have an answer for him, so we could get him the help he needed.
12: Matthew's little brother Jacob left on his mission to Ukraine
13: Ian started going to speech twice a week, in home therapy twice a week and occupational therapy once a month. He has progressed so much. We are very proud of him.
14: We spent all of October in Wyoming having fun with our family there.
15: Matthew did a lot of traveling in October, November and December. He went to Circle Mt, Malta Mt and Billings Mt looking at job opportunities. He traveled to  Purdue, Indiana , Canada and Boise for a few of his rotations. He also was able to go to AVC conference in Denver.
16: We enjoyed our Christmas in Wyoming with all our family.
We had an great year in 2013. We had lot of fun as a family, lots of learning and challenging times. We are so thankful for our Savior and his example to us. We are so thankful for the gift of prayer, and the love of our Heavenly Father. Family is our greatest blessing. We are thankful for 2013 and memories that came with it. We can't wait to see the blessings, exciting times, new challenges and changes 2014 brings our little family.

I sure do love Matthew so much. I am very blessed to have him in my life. He makes me the happiest girl alive. Love you baby love!

9 months

Chloe turned 9 months old on Saturday the 28th of December. She sure is growing up fast. She has such a sweet personality, but has some trouble maker in her as well. She knows exactly what no means to a kid. Smile at mom, and keep doing it. lol. She loves to do everything her brother does. While we were in Wyoming she learned how to climb stairs. Ian plays upstairs at Matthew's parents lots, so Chloe had to see what was going on up there. She crawls like a champ, and is walking along furniture as well. She will let go of things and stand all on her own as well. We are going to have a walker on our hands soon. She has two teeth on bottom and two on top. There is another one that is starting to pop through also. She is eating lots of big people food. She refuses baby food most days. She is still nursing, and I think I will make it to a year with her. I hope. She can sign all done, say mama, dada and baba. She loves music and will sing along with it while waving her arms in the air. We love our happy baby girl. Can't believe she will be a year old in three months.

Chloe is nice and long, has a big head but still just a light weight!
