17 months

Chloe girl turned 17th months today. She is growing up so fast. We love this baby girls spunk and personality. She keeps us laughing.
Chloe wears size 18-24 month clothes, a size 4 diaper and about a size 5 shoe. She is skinny, has a big belly on her, big feet and long legs. Her hair is starting to grow lots in the back but not so much in the front. I put lots of pig tails in to cover up the mullet that is forming.
Chloe loves attention. She will put on a show for you with either dancing, jumping and clamping for herself. She will wait until you clamp and say yay to begin the routine again.
Chloe loves to be involved in everything. She hates that she doesn't get to go to therapy with Ian. Luckily most days she naps for half of his sessions.
Chloe loves animals. The other day when we were driving out of Billings from a therapy session for Ian, she spotted a dog hanging out the window of a truck. She calls them "pup". She screamed out "pup" about 4 or 5 times when she spotted the dog.Her favorite animal is the pigs in our back yard. She could stay outside all day watching them.
When I ask her where Ian is, she will put the tip on her fingers on her cheeks and yell "Iooonn". Its the cutest thing. She loves that sweet brother of hers. She is always worried that he is sleeping when she isn't. She tries to wake him up, so he can play. :)
Chloe gets very excited when Matthew gets home from work, or when I have been gone and come home. She runs as fast as she can to give us hugs.
Chloe likes to eat mac & cheese, hamburgers, chips, fruit snacks, apples, strawberries, any pasta, yogurt, cheese/cheese sticks, bacon, and she loves to drink lots and lots of milk. She doesn't eat a whole lot, but I think she makes up for it with all the milk she drinks.
She has recently started liking putting puzzles together. She likes to read books, play outside, play at the park, jump, dance, loves playing with her cousins,running as fast as she can, playing with a ball and watch Curious George of Cat and the Hat.
Words Chloe can say are: go, ball, shoe, "hos": horse, "pup": puppy,  kitty: "titty", hi, bye, papa, mama, dada, Iooon," gamam": grandma, cheese, more, juice. baba, "wawa: water and no her favorite one of all. She says it all the time even when she means yes. Hopefully she learns the word yes soon. She can sign more and please.
We love our Chloe girl and are loving seeing her grow. We wish she would quit growing so fast though. We are so blessed to have her in our family!

A Day @ The Lake

Yesterday, we headed to Horseshoe Bend to play on the beach. Jill & her boys, and Jan came as well. It was a perfect day. Not too hot, and the water was actually really warm. My kids were in heaven. Chloe loved playing on the beach with her bucket and shovel. She also loved riding in the floaty. Ian of  course could of stayed there all day. He loved the water, and wasn't afraid to go out to the deep end. Thank goodness Jill had a extra life jacket that he could use. It was a successful day at the beach, ending with super long naps. I wish there was more summer left so we could go more.

Elder Jacob Bullinger

My brother had his mission farewell on Sunday. My mom, and sisters and I sang "Come Thou Fault of Every Blessing". It turned out beautiful, but definitely brought some tears. Jake had a wonderful talk and you could really tell how ready he is to serve a mission. He enters the MTC in Provo today at 12:30. We are going to miss him like crazy. Especially my kids will. Ian sure does love his uncle Jake. We are excited he is going, and we know that he will make a great missionary. Can't wait to hear form him. The people of Chesapeake Virgina are very blessed to have you serve in their area.

6 Year Anniversary

Today, 6 years ago Matthew and I were sealed in the Billings, MT temple for all eternity. That day was the best day of my life, and it has only gotten better. I am so glad that we chose each other to go on this journey of life together. We have been through a lot together. In the last 6 years we have moved 5 times, went to school in Laramie for 3 years, Vet school in Pullman for 4, two kids, finding out Ian has autism, finding a job, finding the right job with the right services for Ian, lots of prayers, some tears, and lots of love. I cannot imagine how hard it would be to go through it all with out Matthew. I am one lucky girl to have him as my husband and my children's daddy. Matthew is so supportive, is caring/loving, a hard worker, and so much fun. Being married takes work, but being married to Matthew is such a easy job because I truly am married to my best friend.
When I was younger I made a list of the qualities I wanted my husband to have, and I wanted to find the perfect guy to marry. Matthew has met those expectations and beyond. He is seriously so perfect to me. Here's to another 6 six years baby love, I sure do love you. Happy anniversary!

AVC Conference in Denver

Thursday morning Matthew and I dropped the kids off at my parents for the weekend. Matthew attends the AVC ( American Veterinary Consultants) Conference once a year, and I got to go with him this year. It was so nice to get away for a while. It was kind of weird to not have the kids with us. When we were driving down there I kept looking in the back seat by habit trying to check on them.
When we arrived at our hotel we were chosen as the Guest of the Day that day. It included free parking, internet, complementary drinks and appetizers for our stay.
That night they had super yummy BBQ brisket and ribs for dinner. They concluded the night with a little entertainment from a cowboy poet/ yodeler.
Friday morning, Matthew got up early for breakfast and was in meetings all day. I got to meet up with some old friends from Laramie that now live in Denver. We had breakfast at this awesome place called Snooze. It was so great to see them and catch up. I look forward to seeing them more often. I spent the next couple of hours shopping at the City Creek Mall. It was fun to walk around the mall with out tending to kids as well. I went back to the hotel and took a little nap. Then around 6 Matthew and I headed down for dinner. It was prime rib with an amazing horseradish sauce.
Saturday morning I woke up early with Matthew and ate breakfast with him, then headed up to the room to pack up. He was in meetings until after 12. Once he was done we jumped in the car and headed home.
The kids had a blast at grandpa and grandma Bullinger's. They got to go to the county fair, ride in the ranger and party the whole time. I am so thankful that we are able to do trips like this once in a while now that we live closer to family to take care of the kids. We missed the kids like crazy though. I am glad they missed us too! :)

Our Ian boy

Ian has been doing his ABA therapy for almost a month now. It has been going well. He now signs please and more when he wants something or to do something. He will say done also, but not all the time. He says bub for bubble as well. He is making so many different sounds too, and I am sure they will form into words very soon. Dani the girl that works with him is doing wonderful with him. She seems to go beyond what she needs to. She does her homework for sure. We are very thankful and blessed for her. She comes to the house Monday through Thursday for 4 hours each day. Ian loves when we go to the clinic in Billings on Fridays. He spends 6 hours there. He really loves the occupational therapy sessions he has. He gets to play in a fun gym with swings, balls and bikes. He is in heaven.
We have attempted potty training a little bit with Ian. He has gone potty in the toilet a handful of times in the last few weeks. He still isn't completely ready for it though. We still sit on the toilet a few times a day.  I think once it is his idea, and he understands a little more he will potty train quickly.
Ian hates shoes, and every time we would put them on him to go out the door, they would be off before we got out the door. We decided to buy him some high tops. They are amazing. He never tries to take them off and looks super cute in them.

Riding Mike. Ian loved riding, and when Mike wasn't moving Ian would rock back and forth. It was the cutest!
