Thanksgiving 2015

We had a great Thanksgiving this year. A couple days before Thanksgiving Ian had a feast at school. He loved the turkey I guess, and ate a ton of it.
On Thanksgiving we enjoyed the morning making a pie and salad's for dinner. We also watched a couple of parades on TV. Chloe loved helping me in the kitchen, or should I say help eat.
We had lunch at Asay's about noon. Everything taste amazing. After that we headed to my parents for dessert. We drove the pick up and picked up Alan's chute for preg checking.

Black Friday Preg Checking

Every year the day after Thanksgiving in the Asay family is Preg checking day. The kids and I headed down to Jan's for a day filled with eating yummy leftovers and playing with cousins. Chloe and the other cousins enjoyed helping Grandma make rolls.
 The Preg checking went great Matthew said. Not very many opens! Chloe loves going down to see the cows and her daddy taking care of them. It was pretty cold so I left Ian up at the house, and Chloe and I headed down the the corrals. We didn't last long, but just long enough to get some great pics. After preg checking Matthew and I got to go on a little date. We left the kids with Jacob and his girl friend, and took the chute back to the Alan. Lucky us A&W was open, so dinner made it a date.

We bought a house

We are officially home owners! We closed on our first house October 30th. We bought a 3 bedroom home that was built in 2007. We also bought 38 acres with the house as well. We are super excited about the house. The kids love their new bedrooms. Chloe lover her purple carpet and Ian loves all the space. They also love the huge jetted tub in our master bath as well. My favorite room in the house is the kitchen. It is so nice to have a big kitchen to cook in now.
It took us about two and half weeks to move into the house. We painted all the rooms and did some cleaning. The house was not left that clean when the previous owners sold it to us. We had our work cut out for us.
We are loving being in the house and can't wait to enjoy it for the holidays!

Halloween 2015

We had a great Halloween this year. We enjoyed carving pumpkins as a family for FHE, hit up the ward trunk and treat, Ian had a fun Halloween party at school and we did some trick or treating. Matthew was busy on Halloween, so it was just the kids and I. We went over to my parents and saw my mom at work, and trick or treated my dad at the house. Then we headed over to my cousins, and headed back to Lovell. We only went to a few houses, Grandpa Monk's and Jan and Stan's. The kids got plenty of candy. They were the cutest dinosaur and Elsa ever!

Dr. Asay goes to CRC

Matthew was asked to come to Ian's preschool to talk about being a vet. They were having people come in from the community to talk about what they did to serve the community. Chloe and I went with him to join in the fun. Matthew decided that it would be fun to take one of our goats with him. The kids loved Pickles, and had lots of comments and questions for Matthew.
Lyle, Matthew's boss has a niece in Ian's class. The first question that Matthew asked the kids was, "Where do you take your animals when they get sick?" Lyle's niece said, "I don't take my animals to you, I take them to my uncle Lyle." It was the funniest thing.
