OUR LITTLE CHRISTMAS

This year for Christmas Matthew had to work Christmas Eve and the day after Christmas, so spent Christmas here in Laramie just the two of us. It was different to not be around lots of family on Christmas but it was fun to have our own Christmas. Matthew was able to get off work early on Christmas Eve,so we ran to Wal-mart for last minute gifts and a grocery run. We decided to do our stockings that night. After we enjoyed a romantic dinner of Shrimp Alfredo, salad, red grape sparkling cider, and rhubarb pie. We then were so excited to see that the Mormon Tabernacle Choir was performing on PBS. The nest morning we slept in till about ten, then we opened the gifts we bought for each other. Then we had yummy breakfast burritos for brunch. Matthew's goats still have to eat on Christmas as well, so we headed out to feed them. We have been getting snow all day today, so it was an adventure driving out there. We decided that since it was just the two of us , we would go and enjoy a movie at the theater. We went to the Sherlock Holmes movie, which was very good I recommend it. Then we got home and finished things up for dinner. We sat down and had our yummy turkey roast, carrots, mash potatoes, and salad. For the rest of the day we just lounged around. It was a great Christmas for us, and we sure hope we can get out of here tomorrow after Matthew gets off work to head home for the rest of our break. We hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas.
