Christmas Break Part 1....

We have really enjoyed our long Christmas break in Wyoming this year. We have got to spend lots of time with friends and family. I was able to go to a few of my brothers basketball games. Also I traveled to Worland with my mother in law Jan to watch Matthew's little brother Jacob wrestle. The weather sure has been nice and cold here, but it hasn't stopped us from enjoying the farm life. We were also able to attend Matthew's Grandma Dorthy's white elephant party that we go to every year.  Everyone got to come home for Christmas in Matthew's family. We were all here from my family as well for a while. My sister Brandy and her husband Mark spent a week up here, and then headed to his families for Christmas and New Years.
Christmas Eve we enjoyed the traditional gnoccies, which is a homemade Argentine potato pasta, with a spaghetti sauce on top. Then we headed to my families for the evening and Christmas morning. We had a shrimp, and pasta dinner at my Grandma Bullinger's. ( Thanks Mandy and Cal for the yummy food). We read a few Christmas stories as well as the Christmas story in Luke Ch. 2. Christmas morning was wonderful and are so thankful for all the gifts from our family. Baby Ian was even spoiled this year for Christmas. We opened presents and ate a big breakfast with my family that morning. Matthew played a little trick on my little sister Bethany that morning. We had her name for Christmas, and Matthew wanted to add something special to her present this year. Being a vet student he gets lots of free dog food, and treats, so we handed a wrapped bag of dog treats to Bethany first thing. She thought it was so funny, and was so surprised. Matthew surprised me with easy tone shoes, and a new camera. I love my new shoes, and I am really enjoying our new camera. I got him some new clothes, and a external hard drive. Then we headed over to the Asay's for lunch. This year we all chipped in and got Jan a mother's ring from Christmas. We were all so excited to see her open it. Christmas day is kind of crazy for us running all over spending time with both our families. I am so thankful that we are able to have our families live so close to each other so we never miss seeing anyone.
