Ian is 1...

Today is Ian's 1st birthday! It's amazing how big he has gotten over the past year, and I swear he just joined our family yesterday. Ian is such a sweet boy. He is walking all over the place, and keeping me on my toes. He can say hi, hello, ma ma, da da, ba ba, and lots of other talking we don't understand. He sleeps through the night pretty much every night, but there are a few early morning wakings in our house still. He loves phones, and puts them up to his ear and jabbers. He snaps his fingers, but instead of making the snap noise with his fingers he clicks his tongue. He eats pretty much everything we eat now, and we started giving him whole milk yesterday. He isn't quite sure he likes it yet, but he drinks it still(sorta :)). He loves playing with big kids, so he has loved being in Wyoming with his cousins. He likes being outside, and always ends up being filthy dirty by the end of the day. I guess that's a boy for ya. He loves dogs. Matthew's parents have one and mine do to, and he loves to cuddle with them. Ian loves to read books, and even sits and reads them by himself, its the cutest thing ever. We love you Ian! We are so happy you joined our family. You make being a mom and dad so much fun. Happy birthday baby boy!
