Being Sick is No Fun

Ian and I have been sick with bad colds for over a week now. Matthew is now getting sick too. Ian has never been sick a day in his life till now. I guess that's the luck of having a spring baby. Ian has still been a pretty happy boy even being sick. Unless it's bed time and he gets kind of crabby, but I can't complain much. He has learned to pull himself up to things now, so nothing is safe with this little man around. Hopefully once we get back to Pullman this weekend we will all get back to normal. Sleeping has not been the best for Ian since we left Pullman almost two months ago. I think we just need to get back to a routine, and things will get better.
Poor Ian with his goopy eyes.

One night Ian was so tired he fell asleep kind of upside down on Grandma Asay's lap.

Ian loves climbing in and helping Grandma Bullinger unload her dishwasher.

Christmas 2011

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. We woke up around 6:30 this morning because Matthew's brother Jared who is on a mission was calling at 7. Ian just didn't know what to do when we were acting all excited, and trying to get him to play with his toys. After opening a few presents we were able to call Jared on Skype. He sounded really good, and it was great to hear him talk with his African accent. Oh and by the way Jared Happy Birthday tomorrow. We love you! We then hurried and got ready for church. I love that Christmas was on Sunday, and we got to enjoy beautiful Christmas music to remind of the true meaning of Christmas, Our Savior. My parents are in Mississippi, so we spent all day with the Asay family. We enjoyed a delicious food, and lots of time with family. Ian really enjoyed all the wrapping paper this Christmas.

What we have been up to..

Ian and I have been hanging out in Wyoming for the last three weeks. We have enjoyed being here. Both of my sisters came home too for a little while, so we had fun spending time with them. We went shopping, ate lots of yummy food, and played, played, played. A week ago we were at Matthew's parents for Sunday dinner, and Christmas pictures of the grand kids. The pictures turned out so cute. Jan bought them all matching church outfits which are darling. Saturday morning I took Ian, and my baby sister Bethany swimming at the rec. Ian loved swimming.  We took him down the little slid lots, and he loved, loved, loved that. I think we will be doing more swimming in the near future. Matthew is finally done with the semester, and Ian and I picked him up on Saturday evening. It's so nice to have him here with us. We missed him like crazy. My parents are leaving Tuesday to go to visit my Mom's family in Mississippi, so we spent time with them yesterday. We had an early Christmas dinner, and opened presents. Ian helped me open one present, and then he just wanted to eat, and roll in the wrapping paper.  We hope you all are enjoying your families as much as we are this Christmas.

We all pitched in and got my Mom and mothers ring.

7 Months..

Today Ian is 7 months old. He is a blessing to our family, and we love him with all our hearts. He is such a sweet boy. He is crawling all over the place, and getting into everything. He has started pulling himself up to things. My mom has this really loud toy phone that he loves. I think it might be his favorite toy now. I might have to find something like it for Christmas for him. He loves to eat, and will eat anything. I have been trying to get him to eat finger foods. He hasn't quite grasp putting food in his own mouth. He waves bye bye to everyone.  He has two teeth now that are so stinkin cute. Being here in Wyoming he has gotten use to all our family here, and it's been nice to have all their help. Ian and I sure are missing Matthew. We get to see him in a week, and we can hardly wait.
