Tomorrow I plan to run in the 5K Run at the middle school here in Laramie. I have been training for a little over a month now. I just run around the park right next to my apartment. For the first couple of weeks I was only running about a mile and a half. Now I am up to 3 and half miles. I use to run cross country when I was in high school and was a middle distance and long distance running in track in high school also. It feels great to be back and running after the car wreck. In the car wreck I broke 2 levels of my back, and also broke and neck in two levels, and messed up my right thumb. I had surgery on my back, neck, thumb, and also was consitently going to the doctor for what seemed like forever. I was in a back brace for 4 months, in a neck brace for 2, and had a cast on my right arm for I think 3 or 4 month. About 8 months after the wreck and after I was done with all the
surgeries I tried to run on the
tread mill some, but I was still in enough pain that I couldn't go very long. Now it seems like the running and exercise helps my back. I still feel some soreness but other then that I feel great and in shape again. After the car wreck I can remember thinking before they made me get out of bed in the hospital and walk I would never be able to walk, run, or do the I had always done ever again. Here I am almost two years in September I am going to run a 5K run. Wish me luck, hopefully I don't break a leg doing it.
( This picture is me running in high school my senior year. Which has been two year now since I have been out of high school. How the time flies by.)

Wow... to hear about all your surgeries makes me hurt. I'm glad to know that you're able to run again and do just as much. :) Good Luck and DON'T break ANYTHING! :)
