Medicine Wheel

For family home evening on Monday us, and Stan & Jan drove to the Big Horn Mtns and hiked up to Medicine Wheel. The Medicine Wheel is a ancient Native American construction, made of stones in a wheel like shape. It is located at 9, 642 feet high on the top of the mountain. It was quite a hike, but we had lots of fun. Around the wheel, it is roped off where there are prayer offers left. There were all sorts of things from beads, scarves and pictures. Matthew had never been, so we put it on our bucket lists of things we need to do. We are so glad we went. It was very beautiful up there. On the way down from the wheel we noticed a herd of Elk off a ways. Wish we would of had some binoculars to check them out. When we started down we met Daniel & Kasi about half way down. Once we got to the truck we had a little picnic, and took some family pictures.
