Sadie

This month our dog Sadie died. We knew that she was an old dog when Matthew adopted her from the clinic. Someone had brought her in , and said they found her in the mountains in a ditch. She was pretty beat up, but Matthew nurtured her back to good health. No one claimed her so he brought her home. She turned out to be a great dog. The kids really liked her, and she was great with the kids. She loved going to help on the farm with Matthew. She was just a easy going dog. Just before Valentines day she started to get pretty weak, and wouldn't eat much. Matthew took her into the clinic on a Saturday to do some blood work. He couldn't find much but maybe some liver issues. Well it come down to it that we are pretty sure she died from some sort of cancer because she wasn't responding to any of the medicine Matthew put her on. We are so glad that we were able to give her a good home for the last few months of her life. Chloe will occasionally asked where sai mom? She also calls every dog we see sai. We hope we can get a puppy this summer, and maybe call her sai too :)
