17 months...

Yesterday Ian turned 17 months old. He is learning so much ,and catching on to things we do. It's crazy how fast he picks up on things. We love our little cute, golden haired boy. I have been doing a practicum for school and I am gone two mornings during the week. He has been staying at a couple of my friends houses. I get so excited to go pick him up, and he is even more excited to see me when I get there. Being a mom is the best thing ever!
Things that Ian is up to:
-Loves to say prayers
-New word is "ta da"
-climbs on everything: including our super tall bed
-We just bought him a mickey mouse little seat for him to sit on the toilet. We are not planning on full on potty training yet, but just wanted him to not be afraid of it. He loves sitting on the toilet. We try to do it once a day. Baby steps :)
-Likes to brush his own teeth
-Does all the actions to "itsy bitsy spider"
-Is so good at going under the water at swimming lessons
-Started blowing bubbles in during bath time. (learned it at swimming lessons)
-Loves "There's a Wocket in my Pocket" book
- Sleeps with his stuffed beaver Matthew brought home from Canada for him
-favorite lunch is hot dogs
-When I asked him about his day or if he had good dreams during his nap, he tells me this big long story. (Of course all in his own jabber) but it's super cute.
