Lately...

It's starting to feel like fall time here. Goodbye to our 80 degree days. Ian begs to go outside when he gets up from his nap in the afternoon, so we bare the breezy afternoons at the playground. Ian is loving swimming lessons. He has even gone under the water the last few lessons. He kind of hates floating on his back though. Ian learned how to climb up on top of our bed, which is super high. I can hardly climb into bed because I am so short. Once he has climbed onto the bed he likes to sit in the window. His new word as of yesterday is "Ta Da". It's super cute.
I had an appointment on Tuesday, and I forgot how great it is to hear the baby's heartbeat at each appointment. Really some times I forget I am even pregnant because I don't have a baby jabbing me in ribs. It's great to know that the baby's heart is beating away. We scheduled our ultrasound for November 7th to find out the sex. With Ian I just knew he was a boy. This baby I am not sure. We will see boy or girl?
Matthew and I are both staying busy with school. I am almost done with my practicum, just three more weeks left. :) Midterms will be coming up soon, so Matthew will be studying like crazy. Matthew has really enjoyed this semester and is learning lots. We are excited for General conference this weekend. Can't wait to be spiritually lifted from our amazing church leaders.
