Has it been a week already...

My baby is already a week old. I can't believe how fast time has flown. I seriously don't even remember what day it is half the time. We feel so blessed to have Ian come to our family. He is such as good baby. He only wakes up at night to eat , which is only twice. The one thing I was worried about before I had Ian was if he would be a good eater and sleeper. He is amazing, and sure makes my life better. We took him to his caring for baby appointment today, and he is right on track. He lost a little bit of weight in the hospital but it gaining it back quickly. Tomorrow my friend Laurel is going to take his newborn pictures. I can hardly wait to see her amazing work. Thursday he has his 10 day appointment with the pediatrician. I am not looking forward to that appointment because he will be getting circumcised. I think I will just leave the room when that happens. I hate when he cries and is unhappy. I just love being a Mom, and I love Ian so much. It is the best thing in the world! I do have to say I don't know how single Mom's do it. I am so thankful for Matthew, and what an amazing Dad he is.
(Here are a few pictures of Ian that they took at the hospital.)

He is so cute! I hope you are recovering well too! Having a baby is hard work for baby and mommy.

He's a cutie. I love the cheeks. I hope your are doing well. A c-section is no fun to recover from. Good luck and I am so glad he sleeps so well for you. That makes a huge difference on recovery time.

He is adorable! Just so you know, I thought the first year after I had Abby went fast, but now I look back and feel like that was the SLOWEST first year out of all of them! :o) I hope you're recoverying well.
